I've been thinking about it more and I just love that parasocial relationships (this term has lost all meaning IMO) are OK when her fans are kissing her arse and doing "can we stop a moment" comments but not OK when people say very valid criticisms of her work that she's put up for public consumption. Alright Chezza.

Right?? Or the need to share every damn time she works out because “accountability.” Apparently, she thinks she can pick and choose when she’s accountable to strangers on the internet.

Perhaps I was unfair with this because I don't know what it's like to suffer with anxiety issues. I don't understand the over sharing though. It's difficult with Cherry because she comes across in her videos of being confident, maybe she can cope with everything she has control over and not things that just happen in life?

Hang on a minute, when the battery needs changing in a fire alarm it beeps for hours unless you take the batteries out, she says she didn't take them out so why isn't it still beeping in her 'still in bed' videos? I had this once and couldn't reach to change the thing, no ladder etc, and it went on for hours and hours, I had to go round to my mum's to get away from it, until my husband came home from work and sorted it out.
I think it takes about a week before the batteries conk out completely.
Maybe she got up and took the batteries out then went back to bed?

No don’t think she did as she said she slept with her AirPods in to drown it out!, I have diagnosed anxiety but you’ve just got to get on with things and I don’t know what kind of therapy she does but over sharing on social media is not good for anxiety at all which is why I don’t understand why her therapist has not told her to put her phone down and stay off social media when she’s feeling anxious! Im just convinced any little thing she can do to get 5 minutes of attention she does! It’s just all very dramatic especially coming from a 32 year old women! It’s like Cherry people can’t afford to heat their homes or do food shopping and you’ve made such a drama about batteries in a smoke alarm

She said she wasn't vlogging which doesn't make much sense. A lot of people would be interested in that kind of video.

Also cry me a river about being tired, we all have to deal with late nights. Plus she can start "work" when she feels like it, it's not as if she has to get up at 6-7am and travel to an office

I know it really annoyed me! Honestly every time I think I might give her another chance she just posts something idiotic like that! I know online trolling is not ok but sometimes she really does deserve the backlash! Firstly she’s gone to a free event and I’ve been to a dinner at the studio tour the tickets aren’t cheap! Secondly like previously mentioned she can literally wake up whenever she wants! And also as mentioned why didn’t she vlog it? The dinners are an amazing experience and most people would enjoy watching it! I just think she’s so lazy with content now and she really doesn’t deserve all these PR Potter trips she gets! Give them to a real fan who will share the experience! Although I did notice a few comments on the WB Instagram complaining about them working with Cherry as she’s been nasty to a few people online so hopefully they finally start to acknowledge her behaviour! Lastly why does she always have to take a selfie and over edit it it’s so cringey!

Curious…what’s an average amount of time off for workers in the UK? My company in the US does unlimited PTO (so they don’t have to pay us for unused hours if we quit) but I would say most at my company use 4-5 weeks per year. I feel so lucky to get amount. Has she not already taken about that much this year??

Her “bestie” (I cringe when anyone over the age of 12 uses this phrase but that’s our Chez for you!) is Rachel Lanning, I come across her on an Adam Hattan cruise vlog one time, so guessing that she met her through Adam and Gary C as they run in the same YouTuber circles. I thought the lack of F Beasts content when the latest one come out was because she didn’t want to upset the part of her base viewers who no longer want anything to do with JK, but seeing as she has and continues to make money off of the back of her, like the rest of the HP iNFLuEnCers, she won’t publicly say anything she just dodged around the whole thing. Talia Storm was also at last nights premiere so I’m guessing Now tv are really not that fussy who they invite.

Maybe it’s so she can justify why she’s taking 3 weeks off when that’s most peoples entire annual leave for the year, like she’s telling us she’s super busy but in reality she could probably get it done in a day or so

Does Cameraman-Chris still edit her videos for her or have they had a falling out/lost touch since he moved out? Her videos don’t seem to have that anymore and they seem pretty bland now. Maybe that’s why she’s soooo tired all the time because she actually has to do something for herself now.

Also, I still think her friend Rachel is way nicer and more interesting and yet Cherry kept cutting her off and interrupting her again

Yes had to laugh when she said that she has a Tesla which is ridiculous most sane people don’t invest that kind of money in a car if they don’t own a house! The sane financial thing would have been to put it into a house or at least to save for a deposit! Think she’s just been overindulged as a child so doesn’t know how to adult! Embarrassing really!

I've ummmed and arrred about whether to comment on this thread but I feel I should.
I met Cherry, several times, many years ago. She was making videos for then (linked to her college course but possibly YouTube) but wasn't famous. I'm taking pre 2010.
She's really nice. She's very witty and had a bit of star quality about her even then.
Her family are also really, really lovely. Very nice people.
When I saw the thread name, I knew it had to be her and I'm genuinely thrilled she's had so much success.

Nah people are allowed to think the voices are annoying and people are allowed to say it to her in DMs. No one is exempt from being criticised on their work and she's a YouTuber. If people liked her output, and now don't, they are allowed to say so. I don't believe for a second she's like that in real life either, it was performing for the camera.

Her friend is stunning as an aside, love her voice too. She made Cherry look even more insane and irritating.

Rachel seems to have quite a few other friends, Cherry doesn't appear to have that many so she probably thinks there's more to it than there is. Also Rachel seems like a nice person so she goes along with it not wanting to hurt Cherry's feelings. Maybe.
I think that is what happens to a lot of people who live this influencer life, it seems pretty lonely, it's sad really.
What's also sad is 12 days of bloody Advent calendars. ugh.

I was thinking the same thing. Her “favorite things videos” are more like, “see how much I spend because I scam my followers out of money on cheap trinket subscription boxes by having them use my Name after I pretend to like the items in them. But yet I am rude af to those same fans, act interested in them, and act like a prissy, uncouth princess.” her fall from grace will be a show. her hypocritical behavior will be caught in No time. She contradicts herself and changes her views on what should be I’m those boxes all the time (one min she LOVES when they include skin care stuff. The next she says it shouldn’t be In) (one min she says the items should be practical and not always be overtly magical except to the person who “knows”, the next she is saying an items sucks because it doesn’t scream magical world). The way she goes in on those skincare products makes me feel quite uncomfortable for them. A lot of people listen to what she says and she’s making out that they aren’t properly licensed etc. Do your research before you damage a company’s image

Not that cherry pays for them of course. So they are $37 per box about £32 for what amounts to a very small amount of snacks, they are tiny and only one in a packet. Beautifully packaged mind but you can't eat packaging.
