I won’t get in to the Harry and Meghan debate lol but it’s like Cherry wants an echo chamber of agreement, I may not agree with people but I don’t block them because they have an opinion that doesn’t aline with mine unless of course it’s hate speech etc.

She’ll have no fans left if she can’t handle differing opinions, if she’s getting hate then block all the way but all she needs to do is ignore something if she doesn’t agree! Stupid reason to block someone

The Harry Potter subscription boxes are repetitive, the new official merch are unnecessary at this point and it didn't help that the latest Fantastic Beasts film flopped. It failed not only because of the pandemic but also because the story was weak, the whole issue with Johnny Depp (no hate on Mikkelsen, he did a good job) plus Rowling's opinions pissed her loyal fan base. Cherry is sinking with that ship and it's quite obvious she's scrambling to look for new content. Those toys are not it.

Damn, she's making a lot of money. The "treat yourself" is strong in the latest video. £70 for a fake anti-gravity sculpture of gold liquid pouring out of a jug and £94 each for two autumn jumpers that she's "definitely going to wear every autumn for the foreseeable future"?? (What's the betting we'll never ever see them again after December 1st?)

Mental health needs talking about of course, maybe discuss it when you can tell about your experience and help and encourage others to look for help.
I think all or many, of these influencers/vloggers have some thing going on, a need to be noticed, loved or listened to perhaps? some are just attention seekers but even that you could argue is a mental health problem.
I don't really think the lifestyle suits people that have issues like these or maybe it's the cause of it.
Some are just narcissists of course.

Completely agree mental health is important and I know a lot of people in this thread experience symptoms myself included but I just don’t know if it’s me but I just wouldn’t post this kind of thing on social media especially to be shown to strangers I don’t know..

I used to quite like watching Cherry a long time ago, but she went Harry Potter exclusive and I'm just not into Harry Potter so I stopped her.

I just knew she’d be the type of person to take Harry & Meghans side! She’s always got to do the fashionable woke thing and I can’t say I agree with Meghan playing the race card in the Oprah interview as to why her children didn’t get titles! That was a low blow and had nothing to do with race but actually royal tradition! I don’t agree with all the hate they get but I also don’t understand why they did this as in turn it’ll just generate more negative press and also the royal family can’t fight back so if anything we will now only hear their side of events so nobody actually knows the truth! And Meghan has already been called out several times before on things she lied about!

Unrelated to Cherry, but I’m between two minds on them too. Watched the first episode and will only watch the second if I’m desperate.

If you’re bored and looking for entertainment though, their threads on here are wild! But they’re very much on the hate side. Would prefer a thread that was happy to hear from people who aren’t sure about them

She says items are great coming out of that latest box but her face says something else. Same tat in every box, they just give the box a new theme. The box before was music themed and she didn't get the references at all, just said it was all good. She must be getting bored with it all surely but I suppose it's better than working for a living.

Imagine the whinge fest that would come with working a 9-5 in an office and not opening children's toys on camera or going to Wizarding World 4 times a year.

No I wouldn’t buy one either, you'd be better off saving up for something you really wanted.
It seems to be all about accumulating stuff, rather than the stories.
I watched an unboxing recently and the person knew nothing about the story, didn’t get the references at all even though one of the items was the cursed necklace, didn’t have a clue,they even admitted that they’d only read the first book. Surely you should know the story inside out if it’s how you make your living.
Its like calling yourself a plumber and only knowing how to turn a tap on and off.

I’m fairly new to Cherry, and had a few months of really enjoying her content which I can only assume must have coincided with a head injury because I soon snapped out of it and realised she’s passive aggressive and clearly feels backed into a corner with all the Harry Potter stuff.

The unboxings are getting so boring because realistically there’s only so much that they can make based on the books so the items are getting more random and obscure.

She clearly thinks she’s better than everyone too. I’m sure she’ll be along to this thread soon to tell us how wrong we are.

No the studio tour don’t tend to pay influencers instead they give them free tickets to the dinner events or tours, the tour makes well over a million pounds a day they don’t really need people promoting it! But most influencers I see going post loads of content about it! Cherry just seems to take it for granted that she’s going to continue being invited!

I can see both sides of the argument but also nearly all Harry Potter influencers are having a go at JK Rowling but some must agree with her really, I mean the odds of every H P influencer not agreeing with her are pretty remote but they have to say they think she's awful otherwise they got a load of grief so it is a fine line that they have to tread to continue using her invention for their income.
I'm not saying that I agree or don't agree with JKR mind, don't want to get into all that do we.

Surprise surprise she’s preaching about her anxiety yet again! I’ve had enough and had to say something so I wonder how long my comment will last! As someone whose been clinically diagnosed with anxiety myself she makes a mockery out of it! She’s able to do all these events with hundreds of people happily! so does her anxiety magically vanish when she’s getting up and singing? Also saying everyone should do therapy does she realise how expensive and unattainable it is for most people especially given the long NHS waiting lists and the extortionate cost of going private!

In fairness, I agree with her response.
I too suffer from medically diagnosed Anxiety and "being around lots of people" or "being at big events" doesn't cause it to flair up.
I also used to be the lead singer and bassist for a band - again: Not the cause of my flair ups.

Things like driving to new places, not being able to leave when I want, knowing my car isn't outside and I can leave at the drop of a hat... those cause me issues.

You have different causes - that doesn't mean hers, or mine are any less valid.
