Home Bargains seem to be getting quite a few Revolution products in stock at the moment, I got a night cream and hyaluronic serum for about £1.99 each.

They also stock Biovene which is very good (especially their suncare)

I love Eylure stick on lashes from Superdrug, they sometimes have them on BOGOHP so you get 2 sets for £7.50, they look lovely and people always ask if they’ve been done professionally

Wilko have cat treats that are just dried meat, they're a quid a bag and very popular with my cats, especially the duck one.

Do you mix the oil with the hot water, rub on face and take off with a dry flannel or do you just rub the oil on your face and take off with a hot wet flannel? Ta!

It’s a dupe of Liz Earle’s cleanse and polish, you put it on your face then using the cloth provided wet it and wash off

Where do people buy meat from? Chicken Breast, Thigh Fillets, Lean Mince etc? I need to re-fill my freezer and wondering where is the best for price but also quality.

I have a delivery saver from Tesco - the cheaper version that includes delivery Tues-Thurs.
I get all my meat from there, many items are price matched against Aldi now.

sainsburys baby wipes use to be so wet, I loved them! Cleaned up a shitty bum in seconds!

I've changed to shopping in Lidl and Aldi. Apart from Aldis decaf coffee, I don't think there's anything I've disliked.

Lidl decaf is vile too imo

Mayflower powdered curry sauce and gravy. Comes in boxes in cheap shops like B and M, Heron etc. Can make up as normal curry sauce and gravy in a jug or just add a few tsps to other sauces/soups to slightly flavour/thicken. Both accidentally vegan. Curry comes in medium and hot.

It surprised me how nice this was! I usually buy the tubs of oily paste stuff from asian supermarkets and I was a bit put off by Mayflower being powdery but it cooks up really the same.

I get my baby wipes from Amazon. 18 packs for £13 and they clean my toddlers bum much better than the Huggies I used to get

Is that the Mama Bear stuff!? I really want to get it on subscribe and save as I feel the moment you become a parent, baby wipes are needed

Not sure how much it costs in store but I just ordered it on Amazon for £4.98. I love the lash princess one so excited to try this

It didn’t even occur to me to look for it on Amazon so thanks for the tip!

It’s definitely worth the £4.98 but think it’s around £2.50-£3 in store. The mini version is only ~£1.80 and still lasts about as long as I tend to use a mascara before replacing anyway.

Primark has some good ones. I’ve got one in my bedroom at the moment and the smell is nice, not over powering but I can smell it’s there.

About the beauty schools - do aspiring stylists go to specific schools in the UK? I've never heard of such schools here (Germany), people get training directly in salons (a concept called "Ausbildung"). They are employees of that salon and get paid, but not very much.
I'd love to be able to visit such a beauty school and get my hair done, but here it doesn't seem to make a difference in pricing.
