It might be in Ireland only, it's been there for over 20 years in the stores here at least. Never seen them in any Primark stores in the UK or other European countries (unless I haven't paid much attention)

I worked in Primark in the 00s and we didn't sell it in the branch I worked at, it hardly sold any make up at all .

I've got good setting sprays from MUA brand & NYX, reasonable prices. Smashbox are my favourite & can sometimes grab a bargain on ebay.

Also while we’re on the subject of Nivea, their Love Sunshine shower gel. It’s £1 and it smells like holidays in a bottle.

I love this shower gel! Takes me back to being on holiday every time I use it, which is great but also ever so slightly horrible seeing as I have no holidays lined up any time soon

About the beauty schools - do aspiring stylists go to specific schools in the UK? I've never heard of such schools here (Germany), people get training directly in salons (a concept called "Ausbildung"). They are employees of that salon and get paid, but not very much.
I'd love to be able to visit such a beauty school and get my hair done, but here it doesn't seem to make a difference in pricing.

there tend to be vocational colleges with a focus on btecs or apprenticeships that are separate from ones that do more 'academic' courses like a levels. from the top of my head the local college does business, nursing, childcare, construction/trade, hospitality, travel and cabin crew training (this one is quite niche), floristry, hairdressing and beauty, media studies, health and fitness etc etc. more hands on skills rather than technical knowledge, but obviously still important and valued skills. they're offered at different levels too, so you can go from GCSEs onto a level two or three course depending on if your grades are high enough / relevant to that course. but you can also have no qualifications at all and start at level one and be trained up.

What’s the fit of the leggings like? I need new gym leggings as I’ve dropped a size but I’m still a big girl

I’ve found them reliable though their comfiness depends on the style. The Power leggings suck you in but feel good for a workout. Any of the seamless types are my fave to wear all day, they’re high-waisted and make your bum look great. I bought a pair for a fiver years ago and only discovered a hole the other day. I have a few of the curve ones (impulse buys) but never reach for them as the waistband is stiffer and branded. I’m a size 8 and buy an XS, I’ve seen reviewers say they’re a 10 and get S so think they go up to an 18/XXL. Worth a punt when they have 80% off.

Oh the perfumes also from Lidl I have one it’s a dupe for la vie belle. Does it last all day? Absolutely not. But it’s good enough to last an hour and cheap enough to spray again it’s like £3 for 80MLs. I use it to cover up the scent of when I’ve had a fag when I’m out

Just found out about catrice makeup and nail varnish and am loving the eyeliners. I'd heard the nail polish with their 10-day top coat was good, but I was disappointed in that. It was really easy to apply and looked nice but after two days it all suddenly just peeled off at once.

IIt appears that its gone up in price by £10 since I last bought it and I haven't shopped around for a better price (yet). I'll happily pay the new price if I have to though.

Every now & then I fill up an old Finish bottle with the pouring spout from the bucket and keep that in the kitchen cupboard and the bucket is in storage.

It's a really good cleaner, saves buying smaller bottles more often (heavy, extra packaging), and I'll get a handy lidded bucket at the end of it

TBH, I tend to make my own, get a nice flannel and some Vitamin C facial oil, mix with hot water, feels really good and cleansing and cheap as chips.

Do you mix the oil with the hot water, rub on face and take off with a dry flannel or do you just rub the oil on your face and take off with a hot wet flannel? Ta!
