I went to Iceland for the first time in ages yesterday after reading this post Stocked the freezer up with the stone baked pizzas etc that someone mentioned before. There is something quite comforting knowing that you can put a meal together from the freezer in winter and the snow etc.

Asda frozen fish is always really good and good value, I have bought more expensive fish from other supermarkets which is nowhere near as good.
My cats also love wilko cat treats, the ones that are like a long stick thing

L'Oréal have an Olaplex type knockoff (Elvive Bond Repair) that makes my hair like silk. It's not that cheap full price, but I got each product for a fiver on offer (I got mine on Amazon but also saw them on offer in the supermarket) and they're so much cheaper than Olaplex and seem to really work on my long, damaged hair.

I love cheap tinned food, the cheaper the better! Cheap tinned spaghetti and spaghetti hoops are my weakness I like cheap ready salted crisps too

Cheap mascara. I use Essence lash princess from Wilko and it’s so good!

Since we're in the cheap stuff thread! I got a pack of really cheap laundry/lingerie bags from Amazon to wash my underwear and whites in and honestly everything is SO new looking even after months. I never bothered my arse to use fancy bags for bras or anything but it's genuinely totally worth doing, even my shitey Primark pants all look brand new.

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but Layering Lab perfumes from Superdrug are bloody amazing. Last year I got Blossom which is a dupe for Alien, and then I got Alien at Christmas. They smell exactly the same. My 100ml blossom bottle was £7, and I keep one at work and one at home.

superdrug have got the bottles in the sale at the moment in 15ml sizes, and they have come out with a rant of deodorants and shower gels. I’ve bought a bunch so I’ll show you guys later when I pick them up today.

also second the Superdrug vitamin E range; really helps my skin!

I use cheap beach towels as bath towels, nice size and weight and wash/dry really well.

My Asda towels lasted much better than my “good” Costco ones.

I do this too, I have 2 huge beach towels I bought in the sale in Primark for about £5 each a few years ago, they are lovely and soft.

I've got some bath sheets from Asda which are ok but not that fluffy unless you tumble dry them.

Edited to add, I stayed at a friend's recently, all her towels are Dunelm Egyptian cotton and they are amazing.

Home Bargains 59p baby wipes are the best ones i’ve tried. Their chicken nuggets are just like mcdonald’s too (the ones with the purple and white bag)

Also after years of using Persil non bio for my children’s eczema prone skin i have switched to Asda own non bio powder and it’s been great. Leaves clothes smelling really nice and doesn’t aggravate the kids skin.

Do you just throw them in a normal wash after every use?

So I rinse it every time with hot water after using, then wash every few days in with my other more delicate whites on 40 comes out perfect and fluffy!

Own brand ketchup is so much better and cheaper than Heinz ketchup.
Sainsburies instant chicken noodles are delicious and much cheaper than Pot Noodles and Batchelors brand.

Sainsbury’s own bread, comfort, cakes, beans pasta and enchiladas kits all own brand good value and the best taste for me.
I used to by twinings English breakfast tea. Now use Sainsbury’s teabags one’s in the red box only 60p. I find them so much better and their decaff tea in the blue box.

If you can't get Aldi's Jo Malone-style candles (they are often sold out) Tesco sells very similar ones that cost about the same as Aldi's, smell very good and last. You can order them online if you don't live near a big Tesco

I also really like Bomb Cosmetics: https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/ that make lovely soaps and bath bombs, very creative and colourful like Lush's but much cheaper (around £2.50-£4 each), aren't tested on animals and most are suitable for vegans

i love the no.3 pomegranate perfume. It smells lovely!
