Cheap stuff you like

Mayflower powdered curry sauce and gravy. Comes in boxes in cheap shops like B and M, Heron etc. Can make up as normal curry sauce and gravy in a jug or just add a few tsps to other sauces/soups to slightly flavour/thicken. Both accidentally vegan. Curry comes in medium and hot.
It surprised me how nice this was! I usually buy the tubs of oily paste stuff from asian supermarkets and I was a bit put off by Mayflower being powdery but it cooks up really the same.

I follow “buy cheap, buy twice” for a lot of things, but the Sky man recommended a Hisense TV as mine broke and I’d never considered the brand. They offer a two year warranty, setup was easy and I got a 4K 43” for £279.

I also love Lidl’s own garlic bread. I always buy the basic range because they’re usually vegan but their one is the best because they’re not stingy with the garlic ‘butter’.

Astonish cleaning products are fab, too.
We have one it's really great quality!

I love this thread.

Superdrug shower cream, the almond or Shea butter one. About £1.50 and it’s great, my new favourite. Does not dry out my skin.

I bought the Tesco own brand tea bags off the back of this thread, absolutely fine and taste just as good as more expensive brands. Agree about the Tesco fabric softener, used it for ages and it’s lovely, as are the Aldi washing pods. Tesco own brand washing up liquid is about 33p and it’s great.

Went to Primark today and got their own brand Dry Shampoo and Dry Texture spray, £2.50 each. Seriously impressed! They smell good and the dry texture spray has really worked on my hair.

Being a student I do find a lot of cheap items from Aldi, including their own seeded bread, Actileaf unsweetened soya, soups and Harvest Morn breakfast cereals,

I'm a fan of store-bought bleach and toner ... total cost about NZ$25 (plus my time and patience); compared to my hairdresser who charges about $380 for the same thing.

I love the gluten-free popcorn my supermarket sells ... it's about NZ$2 for a huge bag that comes in salted caramel or sea salt flavour.

Aldi do some rip off jammy dodger biscuits that I wasn’t to keen on ‘jammy wheels’ and then I recently found some other biscuits in there to try called ‘jam and creams’ they are ten times nicer than a jammy dodger or any rip offs!! 😍

I had a big delivery a couple of weeks ago from Deciem of The Ordinary and NIOD products.

I got a lot of products for under $200 (November sale). One of them is pure Argan oil. I did buy a very small size of Josie Maran’s argan oil before but it’s is very expensive. The Ordinary Argan oil was soooooo much cheaper.

The Ordinary one does smell a little bit like poo (apparently it’s cultivated via goat poo cos they eat the Argan fruit or whatever it is) but I don’t care that much, and the smell dissipates a few mins after application.

Rustlers (the company who do the burgers) do pancakes with syrup which I quite like.

All the random foreign hams and meats in Lidl - they are sooo nice and more interesting than just ham.
