I LOVE the M&S cleaning products! And they're very reasonably priced. I use the laundry liquids, disinfectant, descaler, bathroom cleaner and toilet gel, and the washing up liquid (white tea and rose, it smells divine and not at all floral). I also use the fragrance-free cleaning spray for the kitchen and my cats' litter boxes.

I bought a load for my mum, who is very picky about cleaning stuff, and she really enjoyed them. M&S Foodhall pricing is really competitive at the moment for basics, also everywhere else has got so expensive that M&S now seems cheap

Tescos crisps are good, really light. Its the stockwell range. I'm not a fan of walkers I will eat them if there's nothing else but I always look for the cheapest supermarket crisps because generally they are lighter and better tasting.
Even my husband prefers the cheap crisps now and he was a die hard walkers man.

TBH, I tend to make my own, get a nice flannel and some Vitamin C facial oil, mix with hot water, feels really good and cleansing and cheap as chips.

Aldi do some rip off jammy dodger biscuits that I wasn’t to keen on ‘jammy wheels’ and then I recently found some other biscuits in there to try called ‘jam and creams’ they are ten times nicer than a jammy dodger or any rip offs!!

I love Wilko’s carpet and upholstery cleaner.. it’s only a couple of pounds and so much better than any other brand I’ve tried.

Another vote here for Sainsbury’s Red Label tea. Tesco also do the same thing and that’s better than any brand (in my view) too.

Superdrug shower cream, the almond or Shea butter one. About £1.50 and it’s great, my new favourite. Does not dry out my skin.

I bought the Tesco own brand tea bags off the back of this thread,absolutely fine and taste just as good as more expensive brands. Agree about the Tesco fabric softener, used it for ages and it’s lovely, as are the Aldi washing pods. Tesco own brand washing up liquid is about 33p and it’s great.

I love Aldi chocolate. Rimmel Lip Liners are better than high end brands.

I’ve learned my lesson with lip liners. I loved the Mac ones but I lost them constantly so it’s Rimmel all the way now, not quite as painful when I lose them when they only cost a couple of quid.

Cheap milk chocolate is lush. Lidl, i'M LOOKING AT YOU.

It's cheap, affordable and has proved to be the better than the rest for your skin and your purse

The nivea basic cream jn a metal tin is so good for really dry skin (elbows for expample) also the soap is great. I credit it with me never getting covid

Asda frozen fish is always really good and good value, I have bought more expensive fish from other supermarkets which is nowhere near as good.
My cats also love wilko cat treats, the ones that are like a long stick thing

Wilko have cat treats that are just dried meat, they're a quid a bag and very popular with my cats, especially the duck one.

I went to Iceland for the first time in ages yesterday after reading this post Stocked the freezer up with the stone baked pizzas etc that someone mentioned before. There is something quite comforting knowing that you can put a meal together from the freezer in winter and the snow etc.

iceland is part of my essential shop. I swear by their chicken burgers, meals in a bag, curry takeaways and their bread is fab.

does anyone else go to Heron here? We have one in our town and it’s owned by B&M.
