Amie could certainly learn a thing or two from
Tess Montgomery. What she says is so true ie money can buy you fashion but only you can develop your own style.
Amie has zero fashion sense so she can buy as many camis, OTS tops or spray on jeans as she wishes but it is all useless when she doesn’t how how to up the ante at all…..Amie is static whereas Tess is dynamic.

Doesn't Amie ever get tired of her boring and vacuous life? One thing I don't get about Amie is that she carries a carryon filled with her expensive Chanel bags to go traveling. Once she bought 4 (!) Chanel bags and 1 Gucci bag for her trip to Asia. I've watched plenty of other youtube travel videos and everyone else is wearing much cheaper bags to go traveling. Traveling can be hot, crowded, messy - for example is it even safe to be toting a Chanel bag in Greece or Italy? Maybe it's safe in London on Tokyo. There are large segments of many US cities where it's not even safe to drive to let alone totting a Chanel bag. It's like Amie lives for the perfect Instagram picture and gives up the other aspects of her life. I really don't get her desire to be "on" all the time. It seems OTT to be decked in designer labels in daily life.

I put it down to insecurity. It’s very important - to Amie - what other people think of her. (1) She’s keen to portray herself as affluent hence the big logos where possible on bags, parkas, shoes, belts. (2) She’s not comfortable in her own skin. Notice how her close ups to the camera are highly filtered. I dread to think how much make up she has on given it looks so thick even with the filter on. She looks pretty orange as well.
So - what I’m saying is - what people think of her trumps practicality. She’ll carry an expensive bag though it’s not fitting of the occasion or surrounding. Similarly she’ll slap on a full face of make up and melt in the 30C degree heat but at least she looks “good” (though only from afar and with filters when taking a video or picture). My husband says she’s one of those women who looks completely different when the make-up comes off.

She doesn’t travel to anywhere new, adventurous or exciting. She travels only to USA (Florida, Vegas) and when she travels she stays only in luxury hotels (or this is what she shows) so I bet she doesn’t go too far from the hotel to explore the area. She even eats at hotel’s restaurant. So she uses her bag from her room to the restaurant and that’s the big journey

How did she not know her expensive chloe tote had a leather patch on the bottom? Does she not look the bags over when she gets them? Same with her not realizing one of her mini bags had a mirror inside. One thing if you are buying something cheap off of Amazon or Ali express and find something that wasn't in the photos but like for such an expensive bag I'd want to know everything about it

One of you lovely Tattlers shared this channel a little while ago and I've been watching it ever since. I loved this video where she honestly explained how she has lost over 10k on just a few items.. I wonder if Amie has ever set down and calculated this for herself as I would hope that the number would make her think twice about her next purchase

Agree. It’s hilarious seeing her trying to prove that she has a ‘life’ when the only people in it are her family and Dan. NO FRIENDS when everyone else is out celebrating seeing their family AND friends again. No one cares what you wear, what bag you’re carrying - we’re all just glad to be seeing each other again! Sad people who have no lives and hence exciting meet-ups to to talk about are the ones who take pictures of their bags when out. Give it a rest. It’s so telling you don’t get out much. The rest of us take pictures of the people we’re with and that includes FRIENDS - got any of those Amie?? These insta stories prove what we’ve all suspected ie how hollow and sad Amie’s life is.
And don’t forget - July’s coming which means she’ll be all over the Nordstrom sale peddling heaps of useless junk no one needs.

The review on that bag was pretty funny.
I don't know what's worse, thinking its normal that the bag already looks tired at the third day or expecting it to be pristine one year later. The "if you only get it out for instagram pictures" then it will be fine was quite telling too. Who does that? LMAO.

I also think it’s hilarious because she had so many more opportunities when she lived in London to show that she had a life, wear all her bags,and did interesting things. Even pre-covid, she barely showed anything about London except to go shopping.
And oh my goodness, expect at least 5 videos about the “Best and Worst Buys”, “Nordstrom Haul,” “Fall Haul” that features all of the same items she has bought in the past years she’s been on YouTube.

Just watched her video 'reviewing' those 3 bags. How can you drop so much £££ on a bag and 1) not know there's a great big patch of leather on the bottom of one of them or 2) you can adjust the straps on another one to make it shoulder carry?
She clearly doesn't do research other than oh that's pretty and branded. Just goes to prove how little thought goes into her purchasing decisions.

Probably flicks through the book and considers that as read. I can tell her how to work better without even reading a book ie research a topic first before preaching about it. And if it resonates with you then you should be living and breathing it and not forget it 5 mins after filming. If I was her client in the IT world, i wouldn’t be at all impressed given her flippant commitment to anything. She’s not credible. Saw IG story pics of her mom’s flat at the weekend - it looks far nicer and more comfortable compared to Amie’s pretentious home. Funny we’ve never seen pictures of her master bedroom nor the guest rooms, not since the first pics she shared.

I can actually believe that ie still sleeping on mattress on floor She mentioned someone was supposed to be doing something to the wall in the master in some dreamy blue shade but that was what, 6 months ago now or maybe more. Probably decided against it as she needed to buy her Chanel hence nothing room-wise to show.
