I'm not sure about London UK weather but where I am now, it is too cold to be wearing the dresses Amie is hawkiing. OK if you lived in New Zealand, Australia (especially the Northern parts) and Southern USA.

Amie doesn't just have a handbag problem. She also has a clothes and shoe problem. She buys so much of the same shoes, and clothes in similar silhouettes, fabrics, styles. Where does she even have room to put everything? She really needs to adopt some sort of capsule wardrobe with capsule handbag collection. It's pathetic that she has 1 room in her house devoted to her fashion and it's still not enough space.
She downsized a few months ago only to buy the same stuff. I’m tempted to go through her videos and see how many identical floral/polka dot/black dresses, off the shoulder tops, and midi skirts she got.

I know what you mean about the cankle effect knees, nothing wrong with it but you’d think she would want to dress to flatter her figure seeing as she’s a fashion influencer and not look like she’s stuck in the past and/or someone in her 50s . something like high waisted trousers or flares would look good on her but she just wears the same awkward length midi dresses that cut off her legs at a weird angle or otherwise wears painted on skinny jeans with over knee boots that look plain awful
Yeah, her styling is very dated. OTK boots went out of fashion 3-4 years ago at least, so did OTS and cami tops. While midi skirts are in trend she’s all about flowy or bias cut styles which age her dramatically. As if that’s not enough - there’s the ramen hair 😂 ...it just gets progressively worse. Amie’s keen on buying designer gear to look classy but she hasn’t got the eye for changing things up so ends up looking abit of all sorts. I’m sure she’d have no idea what to do if she was let loose in Zara.

Um - please don’t be offended but I’m going to correct you there .... she has at least two rooms dedicated to fashion 😂😂😂. In one room she has the glorious IKEA wardrobe with hanging rails for her dresses and top shelving to show off her Chanel bags. That DIY wardrobe has gaps of varying sizes between drawers, a drawback of refusing to go with a professional carpenter.
In room no.2 she has further shelving units for her shoes and handbags, a tacky looking dressing table with an equally unfortunate looking chair and most importantly a toilet with no door 🙄
I’m pretty sure she has wardrobes elsewhere in the house to store her fifty million lookalike dresses and tops.

wait...she has 2 rooms??? filled with the same stuff??? she probably has stuff in her actual bedroom as well - which would make the count 2.5 to 3! now that is truly ridiculous!!! 🤢

Yep - go check out chaseamiehome on IG and you’ll see what I mean in terms of Rooms no.1 and 2 which are different. She did say after Dan had finished working on room no.1 they were moving onto another room to kit it out for her shoes. Other influencers have a beautiful walk in closet the size of Brazil to fit in all their fashion stuff; Amie bought a house that clearly doesn’t work design-wise so has to use up several different rooms for her fashion storage. What a bellend.

She also have her own office and her husband works in the living room. The house has 6 bedrooms and she has taken up 3 just for herself. I get you want to have your own office, but two rooms for your wardrobe is absolutely ridiculous.

She could've had just one room for her clothes and bags but the house is truly badly built that you can't do much with the space. None of the smaller bedrooms look big enough to put in a double bed without being super crammed. The windows and the radiator take up one long side of the room completely, thereby limiting her space. She also doesn't use any of the space in the middle of the room and instead just push all the shelves to the edges. She had more storage in her flat in London because it had a better layout. I mean that is just plain dumb of moving to the suburbs for more space but still have less space.

That straw Fendi pouch is £490. That is crazy. It's a nice pouch but it's not practical.

The sad thing is - it was probably made by poverty stricken people who are likely to have been paid next to nothing for it, only for Fendi to put their name on it and push up the price by a factor of 1000. There are some products where you may be willing to pay artisans to hand make it for you, but straw bags/hats/purses etc are not worth the hundreds of pounds that brands like Loewe and Fendi are charging. We’re better off buying them from the locals who make it - assuming of course that you visit such countries/islands that make them.

pretty sure she already has a rattan purse (LK Bennett) which she only wears on vacation so this will surely show up on her instagram sales page within 6 months (if she doesn’t return it on the down low before)

so true and these would actually be authentic.

i really cannot with Amie. just saw her instagram reel of her stupid posing with her smug clown smirk showing off all her new dresses. it is sickening that she has used up 3 out of 6 rooms for closet space and is still buying. i know we keep asking, but where exactly is she going to wear all these tea dresses in the middle of nowhere with no friends and no social life?? truly obnoxious!

The most ridiculous thing is that the pouch doesn't have a wristlet or a chain / strap. It's a freaking pencil case. How can you wear it? Without the Fendi sign, you'd be hard pressed to sell it for £20 - you can put some cards and your phone in it and throw it into another larger handbag - that's it. At least LK Bennett straw clutch is actually wearable. The white one Amie had for her wedding was actually cute (I liked it) and it went well with her wedding outfits.

Taking a picture of her bag while at vaccination centre..... how sad is that?? Proves she has absolutely nowhere to go if that’s the best she can do. I was at Bluebird restaurant in Chelsea last weekend and it was brilliant! Lots of people hanging out, all very comfortably dressed in trainers with very few sporting high end bags .... compare and contrast with Amie who dresses up in front of the mirror and takes pictures of her bags at supermarket car parks and the vaccine centre.

Where else to go? The other option is grocery shopping 🤣

I didnt like her response to taking the covid vaccine. It implied that she had a choice over the different brand of vaccines available, when that isnt the case here in the UK. Unless she meant, researching into the covid vaccine in general and exercising her choice to have it as a vaccination whatever type or brand.

Its a covid vaccination, youre in and out in 30 mins, gettibg tarted up and "choosing" a bag of the day is too much brain power. Its like getting dressed up to get a smear from your dr 😂

I read it as she did research into all of the vaccines just to have peace of mind with whatever they gave her. Seemed like an ok response to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I take more issue with all of her horrendously boring spring dresses that she's never going to wear 😄

Yup. And I can't stand the way she styles them. Like, it's not even practical. A ditzy floral summer dress with patent stilettos? No. Pastel gingham and black? Hot weather dressing but with full ramen hair? No, no, no.

Was she looking for the Chanel Covid-19 Vaccine?

The baffling thing is that the reason they bought this massive house in the 'burbs is because they want to have kids. So for 6 bedrooms - 3 for herself -1 master, you are left with 2 rooms. I would think that one of the bedrooms should be a guest room considering how often her mom and her MIL visit them, which leaves just 1 bedroom for their child/children. Also, it seems like she took the biggest and the brightest rooms in the home for herself. It is like... shouldn't you be reserving them for people rather than clothes? Also, all that light is terrible for clothes and particularly the bright designer bags that can easily get sun damaged.

She might be the first person I know who would be getting a 6 bedroom home for one child. My friends who have two kids are raising them with a 2 bedroom apartment (space does come with a hefty premium in NYC). What would have made sense to me is that she gets a bedroom for a walk-in closet (despite how much we rag on her, it is her living and that is a filming space), one office that her and Dan can both share (you don't need a lot of space if you are working on your computer and if there is a call you can go and take it at one of the many other rooms in the house), one guest room, and that leaves 3 more bedrooms. Yes the bedrooms are poorly built, but I would have spent the bag money and hired an architect to redo the place to maximise the space.

It depends. When I was growing up, it wasn't uncommon for kids to share bedrooms. Especially in NYC in smaller houses, my friends had to share bedrooms with siblings. Or even in houses with 3 bedrooms - the parents in one room, spare room, kids room (two to one room).

The funniest thing is that I'm sure there are nicer houses in Birmingham for the price that Amie paid for her house. This is how I know Amie isn't as smart as she pretends to be.

Whatever happened to the dog Amie says she wanted to get? I think Amie is too selfish to get a dog. She wants all the extra money for herself. Not to mention, a dog may chew up her clothes, carpet, tapestry, pillows, throws, etc...

There are definitely nicer houses and much nicer neighbourhoods around Birmingham but (I) generally you’d get less rooms for the same price though the room dimensions would be better (ii) the houses in the nicer neighbourhoods would cost far more.

I think Amie wanted to be able to say she has 6 bedrooms because that is a lot when a typical house in the U.K. only have 4, but she failed to consider the poor layout. 6 bedrooms are only a wow thing if the rooms are spacious and don’t limit you in terms of what to do. Because of the weird shape and small size of her fashion rooms she can’t have a picture of her parading in front of a display of all of her belongings, you only ever see parts of them.

That house was a poor choice given the drawbacks that have been pointed out on this forum. I’m guessing she got tired of house-hunting - as she wanted features (Georgian or Victorian - I forget which) that weren’t available in areas she was targeting (another sign of zero research) so settled on something else which involved little to no thought/due diligence. So she’s now stuck living in a house which she tries very hard to decorate but makes little logistic sense where showing off her stuff is concerned. Posh people (given she’s so keen to be seen as such) don’t need to walk into different rooms for shoes and clothes - they just have one giant gorgeous walk in closet with beautifully made wardrobes and lighting. But Amie chose badly. She’s definitely NOT smart. She may make herself out to be as such from all her talk about investing in property etc but honey, if you cant even assess if a house layout is appropriate for you and worth its price (think of dead spaces) then you’re not smart. She recommends an online investment platform when everyone knows the actual advisers you employ to manage your portfolio would do a far better job then some algorithm developed and run by some 30 year old.

^^I'm not familiar with Birmingham but I found this house on there that is much cheaper than Amies. It looks a lot like Amie's house - it's brand new and has a similar garden but has 5 bedrooms. And it's like £200,000 cheaper. And it doesn't have the weird sloped ceilings. Granted the downstairs is not as open concept but the house as a whole is more usable.

I'm still convinced Amie made a huge mistake with the biggest purchase of her life aka her house. I've seen similar houses before to Amies at better prices just randomly googling "houses in Birmingham". I don't know how you can get tired house hunting after 5 houses. It's not some £2000 luxury bag...Some people look for months to 2 years for the perfect house.
