Someone on this site told me nnd I had a look about to see as Chappell fans seem to be ready to compete with Swifties for most crazy when defending her. The only sites that published it that I could find was the Daily Mail who also claimed they found out her bodyguard did work for...or at least take care of her at the time but gave no evidence and People Magazine who seems to have deleted it, Another few sites are also saying they think it's fake. To be honest, I'm still 50/50 as it's not the first time she has said or done something turned around and denied it.
This was the clip that really made me dislike her. She’s having a go at this photographer, but it’s the way she does it, literally wagging her finger at him, being smug, condescending, and smiling sarcastically.
(I worked in retail for years and she reminds of the worst kind of difficult customer. The kind of people who seem to relish the opportunity to talk down to someone who is not in a position to defend themselves.)

I don't know much about her tbh but in that video is she in drag? I don't get the whole drag thing at all but I think it's because I'm not well enough informed about it. When she's preforming is she always in drag? Do other female artists do that? It's doesn't look like drag to me. It just looks like weird makeup.
Drag is essentially just having an overblown, vibrant onstage persona. In this case, Kayleigh Amstutz is the real person and Chappell Roan is her drag/onstage character. Plus a lot of the way she looks and styles herself on stage is a nod to drag culture.

Yep, this is exactly what I meant by being unable to respect people who behave this way. This is the sort of person you go on a date with and they're fun with you, but then the "lesser" server comes over and your date starts talking to the server like they're hot garbage and totally worthless compared to the glory that is your date.
That right there is the thing you walk out on, in part because all the food coming to your table is probably going to have been dragged over the kitchen floor.

Judging by online spaces most people loved on quickly with “the reaction to this has been overblown” and some variations of her just being unlikable but separating the artists from the art
There was an article about how it was fuelled by bots but people seem to have caught on to this being someone trying to sell a product and how it will be a more common PR move
I think this sort of attitude is just something she’s going to own from now on as she never really made an effort to do PR for it. It’ll be interesting to see how it holds up once the hype around her dies down

I'm late the party but I hadn't heard of her until this week. Her wee spat has been the subject of a few shitosting groups so I had to found put more about this small church horse person. Spoilt brat vibes for sure. There is footage from 1964/65 of Paul McCartney eating a meal (might have been breakfast ironically) and a journo clocks him and they converse whilst Paul is eating. Paul is Mr Charm so perhaps it comes easier to him. He was on tour at the time. The Beatles had gruelling tour schedules and had to squeeze meals and recreation in where they could. Oh and no heavy security either.
BIB - The claim is by GUDEA, the people who said the same about Taylor and the bots in the Rolling Stone article a while back which turned out to be mostly untrue with even some Swifties saying it was BS as they neglected to mention the bots defending her or that they used AI and those saying things showing they were real people and not in fact bots like the company claimed. I'm guessing this will be the same and she won't be the last one to claim it either.

Being let go from Kim Kardashian’s team after the robbery isn’t a bih a deal as it sounds. She didn’t blame them for tje robbery, but she wanted a beefed up security team of armed former secret service agents rather than just dumb muscly guys so they were let go.
I believe him, I think the little girl was being brattyand repeatedly interrupting people’s breakfasts and so he nipped it in the bud after seeing it before. She just sounds so spoilt and entitled, going to Lolapalooza at her age and staying in the Pink Pony Club and being so indignant she was asked to behave that she reused to watch the show her parents had paid for her to see and got another expensive night out full of treats.
Also, remember the lesson of the Alice Evans thread. The more you exaggerate and embellish the story, the more they pay you.
I’m not staniding up for Chappell Roan, I believe you all thay she’s a horror. But when a situation gets to the point where someone else’s security guard needs to step in and have a word, you know something has gone on.
But there are multiple pictures ot him with Sabrina Carpenter. He’s her security.
