Oh man. I hadn't thought about Ieva in ageeeeeees and she suddenly popped into my head and I thought I'd check out if she had a thread here since I used to check out her thread on GG sometimes. I hadn't done it since the nonsense about running with lions

So she is making the bouquets at rokas sister flat and also storage every furniture in there? Jesus I would go mad, no idea why the sister allows it.
I agree, the future flat is sooooo small. Way too small for two people and a dog!
as she describes the flat I have no idea where the heck she will put all her stuff in? The living room is so small and they want a dining table and a work desk…for what? Like girl you don’t need a work desk, you have nothing to do. Use the space for storage, I’m sure you will need it!
Does anyone else agree they Plan way too less storage opportunities?

Maybe she not necessary will need work desk, but you forgot Rokas, he will live there as well. and he is working for sure and I would agree that to work on kitchen table is not good for a back.
And for me the size of apartment looks good for two people, maybe it depends where are you from.

I'm glad to hear it. I think the amount of gifts influencers receive nowadays is completely tasteless. And it's ironic that the people who are supposed to influence others would never pay for those products themselves if they had to. Ieva has made this obvious so many times, it really takes away from her credibility. She's a cheapskate with borrowed taste. Is she going to use that huge marble table she bought a while ago in her Vilnius apartment? Nope, because it doesn't go with Rokas' minimalist grandfather style.

I thought the hotel stay was gifted, at least for Ieva and Rokas. Nidos Banga has gifted many influencers stays at their hotel. I don't know if everyone else had rooms. Simona and Karolis didn't post anything from the hotel, so I assume not. Klaipeda is about one and a half hours by car from Nida, so maybe some people drove back home that night. I remember everyone sat on the floor in Ieva's room when it began to rain. I can't remember if everyone was in Nida for breakfast the next day. Maybe they stayed at a cheaper place or at a camp site. But, again, no one shared any pictures of that, so I'm guessing it didn't happen. I can't see Ieva inviting her friends - more like they pay for her trip as a present. Ieva is too used to freebies to be generous. She doesn't like to spend her own money.

Edit: Maybe we will find out in a video three weeks from now.

Heating prices in Vilnius have risen sharply this year, by 50% and more ... we were all shocked. Apartment prices are unlikely to rise in the coming years ... In the advertisements you can clearly see how the prices of apartments in old buildings and new houses differ in that area.

I doubt it is love between Ieva and Rokas... apparently Ieva already wants to get married and Rokas likes Klaipėda and the sea... and maybe he likes her parents and their financial situation... just go with the flow...

Energy prices risen like that everywhere in the world, maybe except Russia. It's not exclusive to Vilnius.

no, it’s not me. But the comment is just the proof that I’m not the only one who thinks it’s super weird to wear a white dress (and yes Ieva, it is white) to a wedding, doesn’t matter if you wore a blazer for like 20 minutes to cover it.
The thing is, I’m sure Ieva would be super pissed if someone would do that at her wedding, but for her, as a guest, it’s totally okay!

So i had some time to watch Vlogmas day 1 and I liked it. She finally showed some shopping trip snippets, which I really missed. I also like the intro.
I don’t really understand why she disliked the make up made by that woman. I thought she looks pretty fine with it. She preferred the make up made by a guy which was just all over orange?! Hahaha

Do you think Rokas broke up with her because of Ieva? It doesn't sound like he had much time between those two relationships if they were still together in 2020, and it seems to have been a long and serious relationship (from 2016 at least).

Hm I dont think so... I dont know the exact timeline of when Rokas & this girl broke up and he got with Ieva. But it crossed my mind... Seems like they were indeed in longterm relationship.
Maybe that's what made Ieava & Rokas close - they've both ended serious and long relationships. Who knows..
I just find it so interesting that they've acted the same with this girl like now with Ieva.

I was surprised about all these fine lines and wrinkles! She’s had the nasilabial folds for a while. The eye ones I haven’t seen on her in such state before. But I was really surprised about the forehead.

Then on another note I couldn’t believe how yellow her hair was again a few days ago in one of her ig stories. And in the other photo she just looks so bad! Like a slug why post it?

That's exactly what I noticed about her skin as well. It almost seems like there is some kind of blurring filter applied to certain areas, but some textured bits remain. I mean, we all experience skin aging sooner or later, and lighting can be harsh and overemphasize imperfections. But I assume Ieva takes her photos for social media under flattering conditions? I really would love to see her in the flesh, to see what she really looks like.

In her new vlog, she mentioned they have been to Copenhagen six times and they want to move there. It's a nice city and they definitely get their style inspiration from it. It's interesting though, her style completely changed about 3-4 years ago when she first started dating Rokas (he seems nice). She literally dresses just like him but it's good to have our own unique identities, to be inspired by other people's style, but not change ourselves almost completely

Ieva had a completely different style and she just morphed his style and it seems, she even wears his clothes quite often. I know she thinks it's trendy, but it's such a drastic change from how she has always been. To preface, there is nothing wrong with this if it makes her happy, but I can't help but think it's a bit of a trend that she might look back and think "what was I thinking?". We have all been there to some extent

I like how she seems to be uploading more often this month, but I do wish Ieva would stop using or at least reduce the blur filter when she is filming. She's showing herself applying products but we can't even tell how they look on her skin or hair because she has the distracting blurring filter on maximum blur. I've never seen anyone's videos more blurred than hers lately... she has nice skin and doesn't need to do that

Maybe. But their relationships couldn't have been more different. Rokas shared his life with his partner whereas Ieva skyped for ten years and went on vacation occasionally. She doesn't really have experience in relationships. But yeah, she fits into that vacant slot in his life nicely. He's doing everything he used to do, just with a different girl.

Funny thing is that Ieva's style now should have been worn in her early twenties and what she wore in her early twenties (classic colors, capes, gold jewelry) would be perfect now.

As for Rokas... he's so asexual, he looks like a man without style and any charisma, so basic. Can't believe that she fell for him.

Also she was at Lake Como, I know that we already had this conversation but I still can't believe how she affords her lifestyle. I'm from Poland, prices are crazy atm, there's no way I would afford to travel so much as Ieva and I have quiet good salary. It's all very strange, is Rokas rich? Does her parent still give her money? I think she must be from way richer house that I thought she was. I still remember her old kitchen in family house, it was so outdated but maybe they are loaded now, who knows.

I used to wonder that as well. In some countries you can get funding if you start a new business. I do think she believes she will be successful. But the problem is, she probably thinks her ventures will be popular and just grow by themselves, just like her youtube career once did. But youtube success is often down to luck, you can't control it that much. Ieva has never really worked for anything, she doesn't know how. I thought her family would be able to give her support, several of them are business owners. But they never seem to give her any pointers. As someone here said, most people commenting here can give simple advice on all kinds of topics, but Ieva never thinks of the simplest things. In all those years, she could have taken a course in business planning or something, but she's just not interested in that. She thinks her business will magically become successful while she is in the bath. Maybe Rokas will work with her on this. He could do all the work and let Ieva make silly little flower arrangements (I'm not exactly wowed by what she shows on her photos).

Has she even made a bouquet using flowers not from her family's garden or out in the field? If that's what it takes, then I must be a florist too.

Whats the point of it? Is she in hope someone will order bouquets made by her with flowers she found in the wild and want to make people pay for it?
Is this the business plan she was talking about which Rokas and her planed together?

I also enjoyed her vlogmas videos, but not as much as I usually do. In the first video, she just stuck lots of clips from the past weeks together, I remembered seeing everything on her stories a while ago. So it wasn't really a video about what you do during Christmas time. I also feel like she is using Rokas as a prop to show what a cool couple they are. I'm sure they have a good relationship and a lot of fun together, but most things just look staged.

Watching the second vlogmas video, I realize that I am purely a nostalgic viewer. I would not be interested in her if i stumbled upon her videos for the first time today. Ieva looks pretty bad in the first scene on the sofa, her hair and skin are not great, she looks puffy and her speech is slurred (and how could she come this far without ever improving the audio of her recordings? She should have invested in a clip-on mike years ago). This is not someone I find attractive or intriguing. And the "special" manicure with those tacky gold rings, ugh. I fast-forwarded through the ads.

She kind of filled the video with the ad, flower arranging, and fashion show. The fashion show was nice, but it doesn't really feel christmassy. And I'm still not a fan of her bouquets. You would think you could not go wrong with flowers, they are always beautiful, but I don't like her combinations. And the scrunched paper and cards and ribbons are so silly. Nothing about what she is doing is even remotely sustainable. This is just another indulgence for someone who has nothing better to do. And she's not as edgy as she wants to be. All those edgy looks she is trying out look unconvincing on her. She is just too tacky to pull it off. The romantic princess suited her much better.

I think at some point Ieva mentioned that she was going to wear a very dramatic dress, and I think I was disappointed because it doesn't look dramatic at all. It's a very subdued dress with the only drama coming from the veil. I actually really loved the veil and thought it fit the aesthetic perfectly, but the dress itself was just okay for me. It didn't do much for her figure, and that random sleeve took attention away from the look because every time I saw her I just thought "Why is the sleeve there?"

Her "party" look was a complete disaster. Why did that awful feather boa need to be there?

As for hair and makeup, it was very subpar. I actually really hate wedding styles that have those two chunks in the front because 1. they get in the way of seeing the face and 2. they always get greasy/sweaty and flat. I think she would have looked better if she had a sleek low pony or knot or something a bit more classy.

But I liked the way they set up the tables, loved the florals and the party tent, though they should have added a floor to the tent. It's really annoying to dance on grass, especially when you're wearing nice shoes. We didn't really see any food other than the hors d'oeuvres, so hopefully everyone got fed properly.

Was the ceremony part just them at the weird little table?
