My boyfriend turned to me and said 'Shazia is a bit limited isn't she?' It is always something with a flatbread.' I didn't think he even paid attention when it was onI can't get over Max's constant blue steel pout.
I wish Big Zuu had given them a different brief, maybe food inspired by his recipes. The trouble with using his own is like the restaurant challenges - the judges are compelled to say the concept and flavours are good otherwise they insult the professional chef.
I laughed at two things - Zuu saying his burger from Amy was dry and Gregg leaping in to say his was perfect
And Shazia doing a flatbread.

Yes you're right about John helping someone. It was in the celeb judges round I think. Never seen it before. Occasionally he'll say 'somethings burning mate' but that's it.
Watching now and no spoilers but Jake is so irritating. Cocky and self deprecating at the same time.

I am enjoying Masterchef! I do wonder how so many people get through life not knowing what seems to be quite basic cookery skills though 
I know most people don't like her but there is something almost endearing about KP. Her life could have been very different.
I can't be doing with Joe Swash though. Very annoying and obviously plays up for the cameras, it isn't funny or entertaining.

I read that Sam’s sister died shortly after filming, but she’d helped Sam practice the cottage pie beforehand.
Sam’s had tough times; I can’t help liking her - she’s a trouper.
However, I aways think you can tell when a contestant checks out of the competition and is ready to go!
I get that Jamellia is the better cook, but I felt that Locky was unlucky to go; he’d already improved, and it didn’t seem there was much difference in quality between his and Jamellia’s dishes last night.
On another day there would have an obvious disaster dish, like Terry’s, and Locky would have stayed.

Just realised something a bit odd about Diane. She didn't mention Joe Slugg once. She was asked a few times if she cooked at home and she said each time 'yes I cook for my family in Australia'. Didn't say anything about her boyfriend. Granted he is forgettable

You know if you’ve not long become a first time mum and all you can think to talk about is your child - that’s Amy. Except her child must’ve been 2 when that was filmed so it feels all very contrived.
I can see Wyn coming back to judge before boring Amy. Though I do get bored when they act up to the thing they’re famous for. Like when comedians always try to be funny or singers singing while waiting by the oven. We get it mate!

I hope we have a mass catering challenge at some point - one of my favourites. I presume when we have all the semi finalists.
