I can't get over Max's constant blue steel pout.
I wish Big Zuu had given them a different brief, maybe food inspired by his recipes. The trouble with using his own is like the restaurant challenges - the judges are compelled to say the concept and flavours are good otherwise they insult the professional chef.
I laughed at two things - Zuu saying his burger from Amy was dry and Gregg leaping in to say his was perfect
And Shazia doing a flatbread.

It always makes me face palm when they say 'it's never worked in practice but I'm doing it anyway'.
It happens all the time in Bake Off too.

I couldn’t stand Max on Strictly mostly because of that stupid pout but now he’s the only one I’m rooting for on this.
Wynne can’t stop himself singing which is irritating to me.
Luca is sly, I began to like him but the catering challenge showed his true selfish colours. The same ones he showed on Love Island. He has definitely been having coaching from a pro chef.
Amy’s voice and favouritism from Greg is annoying.
I think Jamelia is too sickly sweet, I’m not believing it’s her real personality.
Marcus = boring

That's so funny - my OH watched and said he usually likes one of the contestants but not this time. Poor old Shazia looked like she was going through some deep existential crisis every time the camera was on her - she looked positively haunted
Speaking of Wynne I wonder what happened to him in the trailer for tomorrow? He disappeared

I hope it's not the case that the winner is already decided before the show even starts. I know the show is not exactly authentic in that it appears a lot of them have behind the scenes coaching etc, but I hope it's not fixed like that.
However, I listened to a podcast with Rukmini Iyer a while back and she spoke a bit about how MasterChef works and how John and Greg don't always have the final say. Iirc she said they wanted to keep her on the show but the producers made them vote her off. It seems like there might be quite a lot of behind-the-scenes involvement in the decision making.

Sounds a bit like pointless celebrities with Alexander Armstrong says how much they’ve loved having the couple and they must come back soon but really he says that to literally everyone not because he means it

Something feels off about this series , I’m not sure if it’s just the celebs don’t really do anything for me but honestly I’m surprised half of them have got this far considering they made out like they’ve never cooked before. (Max, Luca and Shazia I’m looking at you)

I've read before that food is cold but that John and Gregggggggg go round when the contestants are cooking and taste as they go.

Wynne isn’t really a single Dad though is he…don’t they have a Mum and they’re just divorced, he’s not exactly doing it all alone. Don’t know why that statement irked me.
I agree with some of the posters, for me there really isn’t a front runner or someone to root for.
Max’s pout, Luca’s scowl, Wynne’s singing, Jamelia’s fake giggles, Amy’s voice and Marcus is just boring.
