I’m all for people finding themselves and some do, a lot do later in life but it all feels so faux and desperate from her I don’t know what it is but it doesn’t seem authentic and positive it’s all needy and try hard. Ramblings bit but I hope you get what I’m trying to verbalise
Yeah definitely. I did the opposite, was fully in the "queer" scene in my 20s and then in my 30s realised I was just desperately looking for some kind of identity to escape my tit life. Dealt with that via therapy and found I didn't need to slap a hundred labels on myself anymore. I try not to be judgemental but for a lot of people it just seems to be a desperation to be interesting. I guess I get it from Cathy's perspective, in a world that overlooks people like her, I can see why her identity is a statement. Yeh I find him really creepy, just looked at his profile and he's claiming he makes people uncomfortable because he's so kind, innocent, and loving
Oh yeah he gives off massive creep vibes. He'd say it's transphobia or whatever (although I'm not sure why he thinks being an effeminate gay man makes him anything other than a man) but his videos are pure patronising creepiness. He did one where he was telling kids to be kind to people like him and it was creepy as duck.

I didn't realize being large was now a protected characteristic. I can now add large to my bio. I might get a large badge made too.
