she seems to know and understand what being a true professional is. There's no face-pulling or whingeing or slip-ups after her first year of being in the BRF.

I give total credit to her mum and dad for raising her to be so balanced, respectful and measured in her ways. That family all seem super-respectful of BRF traditions whilst maintaining normality and no arrogance. (stark contrast to Trump's daughter and to Meghan)
Agreed. Her family haven't had an easy ride - Carole and Pippa in particular and they've acted with grace and dignity throughout.

Oh me too! She absolutely slated at first (if you're as old as me you'll remember her being at uni with William lol) - and poor Carol Middleton was absolutely slaughtered in the press for being an air stewardess at one time.. But for me they have proven the whole family are fantastic!

She really has come into her own.

I am so jealous I am not tall, lean with amazing glossy hair!
I do, their story is much better than the faux whirlwind "romance" is MM and HW.

Oh man, I LOVE K Middy so much! To me, she epitomises what it means to be a princess (I know she’s not actually a princess but ya get me).

I feel like it’s very difficult to understand the role of the RF when you aren’t british (or if you come from a country without royals). The fact that they are duty bound to the people, but in a very unique way and not at all like a celebrity. For all the benefits, I would never want to be a royal and I admire Kate so much for knowing exactly what she was getting herself in to and committing to it with such grace and dignity. IMO they were very sensible to have the majority of their 20’s for just them before getting engaged and that massively helped her adjust before fully getting involved.

I personally think she has done wonders for the RF over the past ten years. I had zero interest in them (and was quite anti-royal) until she came along. One of the most successful initiatives to come out of the RF in recent history is Heads Together and it was her idea. I don’t think she gets enough credit for that (even though William brings it up in interviews a lot).

FINALLY, I love everything she wears. She is a dream and always chooses amazing outfits that follow the lame royal rules and fit the occasion perfectly. The blue dress and hat she wore to Ascot last year was 😍😍😍
Ahh she looked beautiful in that blue dress 😍

remember when they went to Australia - she got off the plane after a 24 hour flight looking amazing, in heels and then walked down the plane steps holding George with the world's press all taking pictures. I think we all know just how hard that is.....

She’s not only a credit to the Royal Family but a credit to womankind in general. She doesn’t need a “big show”, even though she has a platform to make it so. She just does her job in what seems an effortless display of beauty, compassion and humour and all with the look of a Hollywood star. Suck on that you talentless trash! You know who I mean 😈
I agree, Catherine oozes class and isn't an unkempt sweaty bit actress

Actually think she has plenty of personality, she just shows what is necessary for a public figure.
She presents in the manner the Queen has all these years, with dignity, grace and reserve.
She will imo, make a fabulous Queen.
We've seen way too much of certain rogue royals and their 'personalities recently.

S
I really want to be her BFF 👯‍♀️ 🤣 xx
Sorry, you can't, I am.

What a great thread!
I really love Catherine - love seeing her and her interactions with others.
Really admire how she handles herself. Can’t be easy always smiling and meeting people with the worlds media watching you.
The Mary Berry show was great - made me smile - which is nice given we live in bad news / media doom and gloom all of the time. X

For me she just exudes warmth. She’s so genuine when she’s talking to everyone and so natural with the children she meets.

She’s fabulous. Kept her head down and quietly worked hard behind the scenes to bring her childhood initiative to life. She makes no fuss. She clearly understands what it means to be part of The Firm and I really feel the future of the royal family will be guided by her. She also always looks chic and occasion appropriate. 👌🏻

I don't know how she has done this everytime after giving birth - I too, looked a hot mess! Swollen, sore, bags under my eyes, thrown back hair, still looking 9 months pregnant! Crying every 2 minutes! Shuffling like I'd had a double hip replacement! Didn't even want to stand up for the joy of postpartum bleeding! Hats off to her for doing this despite all the help around her- your still physically and emotionally battered after birth!

Loved hearing her talk on the podcast- so down to earth and knowledable. You can hear the passion for it and depth of understanding around the subject. Such warmth from her and humble about her role and the positive affect her work will have.

I agree - she's shown she has a bubbly personality and a good sense of humour. I can't work out how to embed it but I love this one:

I don’t think I’ve ever posted on a rave thread, too much pent up insta rage 😆

listened to the podcast and loved it. I can take or leave gi fletcher and don’t usually make it through a whole podcast, but it flowed, Kate was honest, eloquent and relatable (as much as a future queen can be) and as it went on you could tell in her voice she relaxed and it was like two mums chatting over a coffee.

love her ❤

I adored her on the Christmas programme, she came across so well, seeing her face light up when she spoke of her kids 😍

Love her, she is far and away my favourite member of the Royal Family.
William made an excellent choice in choosing her; but I think he is incredibly lucky to have her. The Queen must be relieved that the RF is safe for the next couple of generations with her as Princess of Wales 💓 and then Queen Catherine.

She’s an amazing mother; puts her kids first, but is still a working royal; supportive; respectful of the Queen, Prince Charles and her husband.
The worst critcism of her is the “ waity” nickname; which in hindsight was very sensible. She has never put a foot wrong.

Agree with pp, I’d love one more baby Cambridge!
Love Prince Louis!

Love this photo

So glad someone started this thread! I love having this lil space now for when I feel the need to have a Kate love in!

I listened the Giovanna Fletcher podcast the other week. As someone else said, I can take or leave Gi ( I've nothing against her but I don't have kids and she's very mumsy) but listened because I was intrigued to hear Kate talk in a more informal way. I was a bit apprehensive because sometimes royals can be a bit boring and blah when left to their own devices but she came across really well  She seemed a bit nervous at first, especially with the more personal questions but got into it and definitely got more relaxed as it went on. Understandable really as I suppose essentially she's a professional speaker and in her royal roles she doesn't have to do much "off the cuff" so was probs mega aware of everything she was saying! She seems like she has a good sense of humour, and keeps William down to earth as well! I'm so glad she said she was terrified about greeting the press after having George but did it anyway as she felt it was the right thing to do. What a woman!!

Two outfits that I've loooved recently - the wide legged green trousers, green jumper and adidas trainers with green stripes she was wearing whilst doing sports in Ireland. She still looked bloody amazing and 100% put together even when wearing more casual stuff. AND the red sequined Needle and Thread dress she wore at a reception at Buckingham Palace was gorgeous ❤

I love her and William, they're definitely my favourite royals so down to Earth and normal. It was wonderful to see them with Mary at Christmas and hope they do more shows like that.

It would be lovely for them to have another little princess to make their family complete but I feel bad for Kate having such tough pregnancies.
