I saw a video on TT recently of a woman playing the voice of Audrey 2 and she was amazing. Carrie only seems to be able to play characters who are basically versions of herself.
There is not one person on Earth who does Q&A's as much as her. Where the questions are very obviously sent from herself after the Trusted Friend has caught up with Tattle again.
She can't act and she can't do comedy. The Dentist is so far out of her league it's a really good look at her mindset to see her saying I can play this!
The last time I saw Little Shop in NYC it was a woman voicing Audrey 2, and it was so fun. It was such a fun take on the plant. Carrie could never, imo. (She literally doesn't have the range.)
Not a chance of Crabbie doing Audrey 2, even less likely than playing the dentist! She would not bear to be voicing from offstage or inside a plant suit!!! She requires to be visible and recognisable!!!

I still laugh every time I think about Carrie auditioning for Olaf in Frozen. I almost wish she’d gotten the role, just for the hilarity of it

If her whole "sobbing" thing was in any way genuine, I'd be wanting her to see a doctor but it's as fake as the rest of her.
Interesting how most in her industry are able to just get on with the job without the constant performative crap off stage, though!
Looking forward to seeing what this year's WEL meltdown will be about, I am shocked when she's invited back each year.

Remember when she had that huge meltdown after the Honest Vocal Coach reacted to her performance? She was so unprofessional during that whole ordeal.
I can understand being upset with your performance. Butshe’s in the public eye, and should expect people to comment about her performances.

Hope one of the two "surprise show" slots aren't her again promoting her own tour, if one of them is then she definitely has friends in high places or organisers that are inexplicably obsessed with her. It's bad enough that Waitress is on at all given it doesn't have a West End date. Perhaps they're going to announce on on Sunday and that's why she's been Very Strongly Hinting that she's not going on tour for a while, as she's been promised Waitress in the West End for a year.
