Your woman Niamh has just done a huge refurb on her Helen’s Bay home and Caroline is building a brand new house. That should give you an idea of how much they make from these events!

This is niamh who came on crying last year that she would likely have to sell her house the minute it was finished as it had financially ruined them.
Then moved in, had all top spec finishes done, spent 8k on doors for her hall last week and another 2k or so buying rugs, cushions, bits of furnishings etc last week and spent the whole summer on holiday.

Yep these awards pay well for the two of them

This has actually made me so angry. I couldn't usually care less what influencers have gifted to them. But for this woman to make such a big deal about helping others and to accept such a huge gift?! Surely she would have budgeted her heating in to the plans already and could have told Bassetts to donate the value of the heat pump to her publicity, sorry Christmas campaign. That's good pr for the Company and she's not at a loss.

I've always donated to the digg deep campaign and got my workplace involved.

This year I won't be.

I have watched some of the influencers involved - Danielle O'Donohoe, Caroline herself, Prim & Penny Just-Julie (among others) accept freebies all year round and not once say "I'll put this away for the digg deep campaign" and accept hotel stays not once saying "guys, I am very fortunate, I have had quite a few stays this year, this time i am going to raffle it off and the money can go to charity" or "I'll give it to a follower but you'll have to take some footage" they just take take take and never ever give anything back.

I'm fed up of it all, the greed, the ego massaging, the pressure they put on the shops to give them £500 worth of goodies for £200 in exchange for "advertising"

Little do the shops know that one by one as they pop up, I don't use them again. (I am only one person so it won't make a dot of difference to them but I genuinely feel strongly about it)

I’m in total agreement, and if I see a retailer or company “working” with these people I will also not be touching them. Along with that I will send them a message as to why I will not spend my money with them. They can decide then for themselves whether or not it worth all the freebies they hand out.

See the way she says “this is 2023 and how advertising is done nowadays” is that really true? See if I needed a joiner or plumber for example, am I really going to go on insta to find one? Surely it’s all about word of mouth and reputation. My father is a successful trades businessman and isn’t calling Caroline to get work, he gets it based on reputation also another thing she continually says is “that’s a business I work with” the word work grates on me

I work in business too and we never use social media or influencers to get new business

The more caroline posts about the house the less i think of her. How can you run an annual campaign for children with no toys at Christmas, no home heating, no electric, barely a roof over their heads and post that monstrosity of a house to your story on a regular basis.

My goodness. Not 1 thing wrong with that house (not that she said there was) but that’s a house for life. Why would you want to move out and build a glorified hospital wing (obv cause all gifted)

It says all furniture is included in the sale so she must have a supplier lined up to kit the new place out for free.
