The Garnier stuff is excellent.

Isn't the plastic reusable and that's the sustainability element?

Sending it out to those who could afford it is an issue for me. Beyond that, it's for charity and if people are excited by it, the saving, the packaging and buy it .... well good for them. Seems like she's done an OK thing here?

Is she not as anti mineral oil as she once was ? I wondered over to her blog for a nosey and she has Embryolisse in her skincare pre make up application picture. It’s second highest ingredient is liquid paraffin.

Feel free to correct me if I’ve got this wrong.

According to her IG commentators , it’s questioned there , she uses it as a primer ( that’s ok then ) , still goes on her face and she has always been rant personified about mineral oil.

Yes, yes, and things like advent calendars are usually overpackaged. I just think some sustainable fabric would have been a better choice, if you are doing something for sustainability reasons.

I agree that, if you are interested in the products and you can afford them, the value for money is there. Also, on a good day, I want to believe that some people who received the box for free may have donated the equivalent amount, and didn't flaunt it on the 'gram.

I refused to buy a Liberty advent calendar this year, they put the price up and the contents were too similar to last years of which I still have products left.

I belong to CH’s FB group and was interested in her product before the big reveal and was shocked by the price! Especially given her “relationship” with the brands.

I don’t understand how anyone with her alleged background could sell a one set fits all when everyone’s skin is different. Very disappointing

I see that there is an Altrient ad doing the rounds on Instagram. Some vitamin C gel you add to water and slurp down like you are drinking the cool aid. Supposed to help with wrinkles.... CH is one of 3 people in the ad. This is wrong!!! There should be a disclaimer to say she has had Botox and that is the reason she has no wrinkles not the gel slurp.

I'm ashamed to say I fell for the Altrient C thing. I saw an article from Alice Hart Davis recommending 3 sachets a day as it's apparently better than any creams (she had done a lengthy trial). All it did was make me nauseous.

Wow, she knew exactly what you meant. I mean, how many tv shows has she appeared on where she shilled Altrient? Capitalising on the fact you couldn’t quite recall which show is shifty behaviour... no wonder suspicion is growing around everything these people do. All their own making as far as I’m concerned

Presumably she gets paid for the This Morning appearances too. So collecting two pay checks for one job.. nice work if you can get it. Feels like it should be in breach of the law to receive money to endorse a product undeclared on national tv in the guise of being an expert but maybe it’s not?

It’s this segment btw - the last product. No wonder she is gutted when holly and Phil react badly to the taste
