I feel there is no one person to blame. But so many things that happened where I feel action should have been taken.

Never been to court but can you not speak up when the prosecution are saying the wrong thing. Or is that seen as bad.

Not that it has anything to do with it, but is the woman he’s with now the one he was texting out of interests? Lots of fb posts saying it is but don’t know if that’s true
I saw a couple of Tik Tok comments today saying it was Lottie. However, never heard this before so I dont know if its just people running away with the narrative.

People saying why didn’t they just get her sectioned obviously have no idea how difficult that is. In A&E I’ve seen many people in crisis, who have tried to take their own lives and 99% of them are sent home with community follow up (which is normally a phone call from a mental health worker).
I’m well aware of how it works due to personal experience thank you. I’m not sure how pointing out catastrophic failures in the system = not understanding how it works. The entire system is designed to fail and we can recognise that fact whilst also recognising that she should have been sectioned. Caroline is one of thousands/millions failed by the system. Clearly her psych assessment was entirely wrong, and I’m sure the same goes for many that you have seen in your A&E department. Just because it’s common doesn’t make it right.

I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole because there was just something so off about her mum on the show. Happened upon the cps review for anyone who’s missed it and, wow, eye opening

Also found her mother’s comments to the Di who asked for the CPS to reconsider. Very strange for a grieving mother to refer to Caroline as “that girl killed herself because you put an appeal through”
Hang on, isn't this untrue?

Ms Flack told the interviewing officers that she had never been diagnosed with mental health problems.

I’ve seen a podcast of him talking about it, no idea who’s podcast it was
ETA apparently it was control the uncontrollables just over a year after she passed
I saw that today. Think he's friends with the podcast guy. He was very respectful I thought.

I think it’s irrelevant whether she had more money than them! I don’t see what difference it makes tbh?

Were the press still hounding the family, even now? That family had gone through so much, I can’t even imagine 😢

Why would he have come back home? She assaulted him and was reaping the consequences of that. If the genders were reversed it would be seen for the attempted manipulation it was
From what I have read on Lewis thread they were still seeing each other.

The police body cam footage showed the attending officers had to physically restrain her. I would assume to stop her attacking Lewis or the police themselves.

You’ve obviously never been around an emotionally erratic person under the influence of alcohol (and if rumours were to be believed ❄). Said person has woken you up by battering you over the head then proceeded then to cut themselves again I assume with something glass as this was mentioned in the 999 call. Any normal person would be terrified regardless if they themselves are a cheat
Yeah true. I've never been around people in that state ❄ so I have no idea and maybe he did fear for his life which is fair enough ringing police in that situation.

I have no idea how or why she wasn’t sectioned. Such a damn shame.
This is what I don’t understand when I worked in supported housing and someone tried to commit suicide they were automatically taken to a secure unit at the local hospital and assessed.
