Schillings are representing the family. They're a top law firm in London and specialise in paparazzi anti harassment. Hmm why would you need the services of them? It has been rumoured that various media companies were issued with instructions not to print anything negative.
No idea if there are any skeletons in his past but the fact that he ensured we all knew his first marriage was sexless (obviously to infer he was blameless in its breakdown 🙄 ) showed me that he was not the “gentleman” that was portrayed.

A lawyer was invited on LBC to talk about the money being eaten, his take was they probably had to pay more for things like professional video makers as interest grew and they needed to up their production values. 🙄

Like is this guy aware of mobiles these days, all you need is a 12 year old and a modern phone. If anything social media is about the armature "real" content. So many excuses that don't add up.

My friend was a nurse at the hospital and said it was a circus...family swanning in and out when they wanted etc

Also on one ward across from CT, was my dying Grandfather. Also a war veteran. Were we allowed to visit? Were we bollox. I complained, got some generic BS back about how they'd had soooo much thanks for "looking after captain tom" but could "understand my upset". I had to just delete it before I said some things I regret.
That is disgusting you weren’t allowed to see your grandad I’m so sorry.

Especially as we already fund the NHS through paying taxes! Why would I pay again?
That's the thing, a lot of people who donated thought it was going to the NHS. It wasn't, it was going to NHS Charities. Money donated to NHS Charities cannot be spent on direct patient care, so this money isn’t paying for drugs or personal protective equipment. Instead, it’s been used to buy things like wellbeing food boxes for staff and computer tablets that allow patients to speak to their relatives.

Considering she’s meant to have a background in marketing, and any good marketing professional will understand importance of public relations, her latest statement is grim; utterly self serving and vacuous. A PR own goal in many ways. I can’t imagine the foundation is for this Earth much longer.

As is always the case, Karma will catch up with you in the end. I’m glad I’m now able to say “Told you so” to those who lambasted me when I suggested wrongdoing by H.I.M.

What a reprehensible creature.

I can guarantee that whatever statement she gives her father and what he wanted will have to be involved somehow.

Do you think if he hadn't been a veteran, events would have unfolded as they did? I'm not sure myself, I think the "one of the few remaining ww2 heroes" narrative was a big part of it.
A lot of those WW2 'heroes' never made it into their 20s. He was one of the lucky ones.

Hannah used Ingram. Her husband changed his name to Ingram Moore during the height of the grift. I honestly think this is deplorable and I am wondering why people weren’t questioning this madness earlier
The husband seems quite fame hungry too... he replies to celebs on Twitter and name-drops Captain Tom and Hannah even when the tweets have nothing to do with them...

I’m catching up but basically - controlling daughter uses her elderly father to create a higher profile for herself and get freebies then takes him to Barbados for a free holiday which kills him. She has probably taken ownership of his house and remaining funds. Coercive control surely? We have one of those, a relative made her elderly mother change her will shortly before she died to disinherit her grandchildren to keep the whole house. Furious doesn’t cover it. I feel for the non exploitative relatives.
I don't feel for Tom. Man was a tory who treated his wife like garbage.

New on this thread, and yes what could have been a nice legacy has been monopolised by the greedy and the gullible.
Yeah he did a good thing, but the adulation🤦🏻‍♀️
what should have been an Andy Warhol type 15 minutes of fame has been dragged on and people are tiring of it, his grasping family and all the other bandwagon jumpers should be ashamed.

The daily mail are being soooooooooo fucking quiet about this! The reported on it the other day and I had to scroll for ages to find it on the app! Usually they would be all over this type of thing!
