Is there a link to the documentary available? Thanks
You can watch it on YouTube but have to pay £1.99

She can spin it whichever way she wants but facts are hard facts. She would have been better addressing the whole situation because ultimately everyone who matters (brands, companies who she wants to work with) have access to the documentary and can see what she’s said and run a mile.

I would imagine that any brand she promotes now would be inundated with complaints about her and her past. It wouldn’t work!

There’s also the risk that there could be more to this than meets the eye, just imagine one of her ex punters she slept with coming forward to say something shady happened when they booked her . It could leave a brands reputation in tatters!

I should add that don’t think Candice should be ashamed of her work as a sex worker, pimp, yes but sex worker no.

Everyone does deserve the chance to change and she’s clearly moved on with her life a huge amount since the filming of that documentary. I just think she shoild
Own up to the whole situation rather than try and spin it which won’t work in the long run.

OK, I'm not going to get into a discussion about how you can legally work as a sex worker or legally run an escort agency as I don't think the moderators of this site will show it.

What I will say is that, escort agencies often work very closely and in cooperation with the police to ensure the safety of sex workers. And if there was anything illegal going on then that arrangement wouldn't happen.
I have no issue with how Candice was or wasn’t a sex worker.
My concern has always been the way that she treated people when they questioned her in the past.
The aggression, the setting others on to then, the fact that her stories changed as much as the weather.
She isn’t a nice person. That has nothing to do with the colour of her skin.
She has been really rude about some people and I personally feel the whole outing and blaming it on MOD is another smoke screen.

Wondering why this has not made the papers?
I don’t think Candice is well known enough for it to make the papers. She’s small fry compared to MOD, who was recently featured in an M&S campaign. Speaking of which, looks like CB is trying to get in on that with her latest post. I wonder if brands will want a self confessed pimp tagging them in her posts?

I'm all about her message (or what used to be her message) so it's such a shame that she's no better than MOD et al. in the sense that the heavy editing of comments is working towards a curated narrative rather than the truth. I actually thought CB was better than that, so I'm really disappointed.

She seems to be one of the worst - certainly the quickest 😂 - for deleting comments. She just pretends she’s different and too authentic to be doing things like that. She’s nothing but a fraud. I agree - very disappointing.

I don't know if you missed my previous posts, but I explained that I have previously worked with sex workers in a public health role. I actually live in London and all my work with sex workers has been in London.

I know it's probably a bitter pill for you to swallow as all of your knowledge seemingly comes from watching one jodie Marsh documentary on TLC, but I know what I'm talking about. I'm writing from first hand, on the ground experience.

There was, and no doubt still is, a huge amount of multi agency working between public sector agencies in order to keep sex workers safe. It just doesn't sit well with people who sound like they believe everything they read in the Daily mail.

Oh geez, are we seriously back on me being candice?
Is this what happens when someone puts across an intelligent argument which you don't have a reply to? They get accused of being the person they are talking about?
I have to ask; if you work with sex workers in a public health role, then could you explain your defence of someone who attempted to GLAMOURISE sex work? Her self-professed aim was not to provide a safe environment for sex workers, it wasn't about prevention work or harm-reduction, it wasn't about safety planning or capacity building. It was about making a lot of money from selling the bodies of other women. Please dont insult the work of public health workers with this line.

She has hired her sister as her 'Social Media Manager'. I guess part of her role is comment management, pressing likes and deleting. Imagine having 50k followers, thanking them for their overwhelming support and then needing someone else to manage your account. Surely you would take comfort from the lovely comments?

I wish Jodie marsh make a comment.
It was only a matter of time I agree she's been clear painting herself as victim of the industry rather than the person who expoits women.
She still exploits women I think most prostitutes have better morals than influencers they are not dragging their kids into it.
I watched the documentary. Jodie Marsh states that she was "almost convinced" by people she had spoken to that the work could be empowering (something to that vein) (CB pops up on the screen at that point, implying that this is who Jodie's referring to), but then she concludes that it's an abuse of vulnerable women.

Jodie made it very clear in the documentary that Candi and her mate were very much In control of the work they do and that they did not come across as victims and as Candi said herself ‘ the lifestyle was similar to that of a celebrity lifestyle’ seems she’s been after this celeb lifestyle for a long long time!

Sister is probably in charge of deleting any comments that contain the word ‘pimp’

Interesting. She’s done in interview in a bid to take some control over the damage control. She’s trying to spin it and she’s doing a really good job of trying but again, I don’t think coMpaines and brands will touch her.

No matter how many contrived PR interviews she tries to do. If this wasn’t a contrived interview there would be links and quotes from the documentary but again no mention of the fact she ran an escort agency...

If anything this is just going to do more damage in the long run as it will make people annoyed that she’s continually trying to swing the story in her favour.

It's a risk. Maybe it will pay off for her and no one will comment negatively in the DM....

The DM is the least of her worries. The DM can’t change facts as hard as they try, it’ll take more than a contrived article on the DM to make those brands work with her again...

Haven’t seen a paid ad since the news all broke...

To be honest, nothing surprises me about brands anymore. If they don't work with her anymore I guess she will try another venture/angle to bring in revenue

She’ll find a way of making things work another way and getting a good income again as nobody can deny that she isn’t a very good hustler.
