Although £85k sounds a lot (and it is) CB is not money savvy at all. She's registered her daughter for private schooling, I had a look at schools in MK and they average £12k per year in KS1. They had a luxury holiday in Barbados which CB kept going on about how much money it cost; she buys ludicrously expensive clothes/shoes and she's planning a 5 bed forever home and just bought car. I certainly wish her well but influencing is not a stable income by any means. I wonder how Dove/Pampers etc would feel about her escorting background?
85k won’t last a minute with the lifestyle she is trying to buy into. Idiot.

Still, at least she can fall back on her experience as a pimp when the IG work dries up.

Oh and if she’s a size 14 I’m a bleeping 3-legged unicorn 🙄🙄

Maybe not all. But a huge percentage I would think so.
I remember a thread on mumsnet where a poster said that it was a site for white, middle class members. Even I was surprised about the level of ethnic diversity and there were so many women who were white/black mixed race.

Really not a fan of CB at all. At first when I found her Instagram I was so happy to see some diversity finally on Instagram! But reading her content, and her aggressiveness, her constant anger and self-entitlement left me very uncomfortable.

I think she does good work with the make motherhood diverse stuff, without question, it's so needed. But her personally, I have no interest in anymore. Her behaviour and dismissive attitude does nothing to help progress an important message on equality, and respect.

I couldn't care less if she did have an escort business, you can definitely tell she will always be the type of person looking at generating money from different avenues, but I agree, why not share your story with others, no one is asking for it to be an attempt to fetishise her background, but it's definitely not this 'urban cool woke mama' vibe she wants to promote now.

I also say all this as a very mixed race woman, who is married to a husband who is South Asian, and raising my even MORE (lol) mixed race child. It is deeply troubling that these are the women that want to be the 'face' of showing diversity in motherhood. I have loved ones and friends of every single race, we don't speak about cultures or people the way she does!

She's the ultimate troll.

I agree with everything you said. I too loved the diversity and until now I love the MMD page, that is so needed, it isn't just a colour/race issue but covers disability, social inequality etc and I think that is so needed. I will always have massive respect for her for starting that.

BreathlesslyMothering, a mother who featured on Make Motherhood Diverse, has been moved to palliative care and her friend is running a campaign to raise money for her children. Lots of the Instamums have been appealing for donations on their stories. Candice did so too and donated today. Such a sad situation.

I donated earlier in the week - anonymously as I don’t need the insta world to know how much or the public adoration at being good enough to donate.

Sorry my bad. I didn’t mean to put it I. The family section. Should have been Influencers or Instagrammers.

Candice is modelling the clothes from her ‘fix me up’ request for freebies. To think there are parents dependent on food banks while brands send clothes to rich beggars.

Without getting all ‘disgusted from Tunbridge Wells’ it’s an absolute bleeping disgrace that she demanded free stuff and then got it.

Free dress and bragged about over a thousand pound shoes, my nana would say “fur coat and no knickers” .
