Maybe she does tell brands about her past businesses. I think it would be interesting for her to talk about it. Because people don’t really. But maybe that career/business came about because she wasn’t alright at that point in her life, so she wants it behind her. She just seems like she’d talk about it if she wanted to.
I don’t think an escorting past should preclude you from working with brands, people do what they do and move on. As far as we know this isn’t happening now?
Highly doubt that Candice will refer to this thread on her stories. It would drive people over here to see what she is complaining about, and she certainly wouldn’t want to destroy her Equality Campaigner rebrand. The whole thing is so hypocritical - just six years ago she was making money from the exploitation of women’s bodies.
There is definitely a need for someone to speak up about issues faced by POC particularly WOC but sadly, for me, this isn’t Candice’s.

But Candice wasn’t just escorting, she was setting up a whole escorting agency; making money from other people selling sex.
I don't think it is something that she feels the need to hide or shy away from, it isn't her nature. Judging from the interview it wasn't something that she entered out of desperation, it was a business move that she was striving for. I do think brands would care; whether you agree with the sex industry or not women's bodies were being used to make money and CB was promoting that. It isn't a ghost from the past, the interview still exists on the internet.
I hear you about it not being in her nature to shy away from a topic like this. I think that’s why it’s interesting that she doesn’t talk about it. It was all part of her journey.
I do wonder if she over inflates the success of her businesses though? In that interview it sounded like she was doing very well, but she spoke about being in dire poverty with her newborn to the extent that she couldn't afford a packet of nappies. I also recall from her youtube channel that she had a successful cake making business some years ago too? Candy's Cakes or something like that.

I must add as well that I'm still very conflicted. I just watched her latest video and it is so good to see her genuinely happy with her car and new found independence. Then Candice-the-witch raises her head and it all gets very confusing, just the way it went with CC.

I agree here - also what perturbed me with CC was that she gave us a believable narrative that then turned out to be a ‘story’. In the end with CC I never knew what was true / fiction and why she’d blurred the two so much.
There are now parallels with CB and I am struggling to decipher what she really means and what is just made up narrative to promote herself.
