Exactly! Maybe they hired Rochelle because she’d allow those on the programme to talk about their god awful experiences which would help raise awareness rather than it being the Candice show. The race issue is a hard one to address, I am white, so I obviously don’t understand the issue at hand but how is it fair to say that someone is not black enough for the job?!
I do agree that colourism is an issue, but I think it is hugely unfair for her to say that she lost out purely because she has darker skin. It isn't a like for like situation. Rochelle has experience presenting that CB doesn't. She also has a more photogenic appearance, and it isn't about the shade of her skin. There are other DSBW that have a much more suitable image too (Africa for example). Image shouldn't matter when presenting, but unfortunately it does.
It's incredibly unfair for pimp candice to say her blackness lost her jobs (esp those she was never even in the running for!). Let's not forget she's also got tons of jobs BECAUSE of her colour, but funnily enough she never wants to discuss those jobs.
Anything that doesn’t go CB’s way, is because of her blackness.

Hit the nail on the head. It's not like for like so she can't compare. Rochelle is more famous and has experience. It's nothing to do with colourism in this instance.

I am black myself and I was bullied by girls like Candice at school who would pull my hair thinking it was a wig and tell everyone I had fake hair, girls like Candice made my life like hell in primary and secondary school, seems like she is grew up just as mean
I will never support women like her as deep down they are bulllies
I have some wonderful black friends are successful and do not behave like her, Vitamin D project is a breath of fresh air
Same with Kelechi, a mean bully who now wants a space with the white people. Kelechi does not speak for me as a black women or many other other black women that I know
Also, is it not a bit hypocritical trying to be the black woman advocate and whatever else but you would never come close to a black man and has always been wanting a white Jewish man as she her previous exposed tweets show- referring to Kelechi, was even excited to be in New York once and was close to having orgasms as surrounding by a lot of Jewish men - okay maybe not orgasms but close enough

Kelechi comes across very much as a bully and completely unhinged into the bargain. She cannot make a (very valid) point about racism without mentioning "at least I wash my legs/season my chicken"
It just totally dilutes the message and reminds me of the thick, mean girls in school who thought they were being really clever by mentioning something completely out of context. Yes systematic racism exists and needs to be sorted out
But the likes of Candice and Kelechi and black women like them have had their fair shair of traumatising dark skinned women
In the Summer black influencers like Melissas Wardrove, Only Bells and others had their tweets exposed for racist jokes made against dark skinned black women, Bells tweets went as far as to make jokes against women who have been raped
So before Candice and Kelechi get seats on the stage like they are begging white ppl for, how about they focus on the racism the likes of them and many others in the black community have against dark skinned black women because we face racism from these black women and the white community
Theey seem to forget to tell the world about this

Its VERY telling that Candice is mad she never got the presenter role, there are so many other dark skinned women who are known presenters and OBGYNs, experiencenand could have done a better job, nothing about at least having these women, can Candice even name one? That's so true, back in the day she signposted towards the doctor mummy (which is how I heard about her) but never again since she got a big following. The doctor mummy constantly posts about Black maternal health, and as a doctor she obviously shares reliable data. I don't know why CB doesn't send more followers her way, at least just to say here is someone who is really trying to make a difference for us.
