I had to unfollow this lady.
today I saw a story slagging off JKR following the Supreme Court ruling that a woman is a lady born a woman.
now, I don’t necessarily want to get into this debate but, after having my baby girl 30 jan and me being sick to the back teeth of the nhs asking me if I was born a woman whilst at midwife appointments, I can’t help but feel this has been taken too far.
so I unfollowed.
I appreciate she has had a hard time with her fertility recently but I hate the thought that some may consider my baby girl not to be a girl. Whatever life choices she makes, I will support, but for too long have I seen men masquerading as women to get into ladies bathrooms and biological women not getting the care they need on the nhs because they identify as something else.
im maybe just too detached from politics these days, but I find her political stance- for the most part- influenced by her not being able to have children just yet and I feel it flies in the face of French otherwise reasonably conservative politics
fashion influencers should be fashion influencers. If I wanted to debate alleged political injustices I’d follow accounts as such.
