Just listened to her podcast this week and she was totally babbling about how maybe Birdie’s generation have got it right with the non binary thing, as if as a female you can just check out of oppression. Honestly she sounded unhinged. Also a lot of chat about relationships and monogamy which does make me wonder about her and Marc. She’s always talking about everything being terrible but is obviously holding back on what’s going on that’s actually terrible. It’s just annoying.

She didnt spend xmas with him or i think she also moved house...but no pics....she is deffo divorcing...just odd to me that it wasnt announced.

I don’t realise Marc wasn’t with her at her parents at Christmas. But he wasn’t in any stories or pics, although that’s not unusual. The last she mentioned they are living in another rental while they wait in the house they’ve bought in new York being ready. But no mention of that for ages.

I don’t follow Kelly very closely so I didn’t know she had split with that hot guy. I did see when she said she was ‘queer’ and thought god she’s got desperate now. I have to say I think Busy is capable of way more than movies like this. She’s painted herself into a corner with the types of acting roles she does. She’s a good actor and could do meatier roles. It’s like because she’s blonde she thinks she must always play bimbos?

I’ve been wondering lately what happened with Shantira who co hosted the podcast with Busy and Caissie. She left over a year ago and they haven’t mentioned her since, it’s pretty strange. I thought they might have had her back as a special guest or something. Not that I listen every week (who has the time, they are quite often over 3 hours long!). But I can see the episode descriptions and she’s never came back. Makes me wonder if there was a falling out.

oh the horror that this pocket of the Internet is unbearable to you!!!! Do you know what actually is unbearable a woman that has been subject to sexual violence not been able to discuss it with other woman because a 6ft man is there now that identifies as a woman. Or the male head of a rape crisis centre saying that woman must accept that trans woman are woman before accessing the service. Or the woman raped on a single sex NHS ward being told that was impossible as no males where present. They only admitted there was a self ID person when the police found the CCTV evidence.

Very normal response as expected… once again look how you’ve escalated the conversation to this point. I’m just as worried about sexual violence as the average woman feels, but that fear and worry has historically been caused by the actions of men. Remember that.

I’ve looked on her Substack (free version so I don’t see all her posts). And it’s a bit of a weird jumble. I take no pleasure in seeing a woman so down on her luck esp a single mum. I hope she can sort things out. I haven’t seen Busy posting about her for a while but she appears to cycle through friends. The latest being that Jen Tullock woman. Although I think if I was any of her friends in NYC I’d be pretty pissed at her for constantly saying she has no friends in NYC

Looks like Birdie is back to she/her pronouns after all going by Busy’s latest post (she used ‘her’ but as I mentioned before I thought I heard her call Birdie ‘she’ on the podcast a few times lately). For some reason I’m relieved. It’s pretty exhausting listening to Busy having to be so careful to refer to Birdie as they/them as it does not come natural at all. Now she can relax (not sure if she’s ‘allowed’ to call her daughter again though…how nuts to even be writing that ).
