I really hate the way she wheels out content about big issues whenever it suits her. Nothing she professes to care about seems to have any real depth or sincerity. I don’t have mental health issues, but I have close family and friends who do and the way she talks about it is beyond patronising. I see she conveniently leaves out that the only reasons she struggled with her mental health was because she felt like she made a fool of herself in front of her social media buddies and had some people say some less than positive things to her online. I take MH very seriously, but there is a difference between people with debilitating and often unexplainable issues and just being a spoilt brat who can’t deal with any adversity or criticism. She uses this like she does every other bit of content fodder... being plus size, living frugally, Disney, the dog, Erin’s operation, reality TV, “running”, bath bombs etc etc.

Erm. As a psychologist can I please ask everyone to ignore the tit out of this Instagram story? Encouraging people to never apologise is absolutely ridiculous. In that case Emma, you really shouldn't moan about tattle because it's our opinion /belief/everything we say is true so we're entitled to do this right? The art of accepting you are wrong and apologising is SO important. Being a stubborn asshole isn't cute.
I am so glad you said this, when I read it I thought- what utter bollocks but it’s good to hear from a professional too.

In addition I wonder about the ‘Needing time alone’ comment. I could easily do this when I feel crappy but will force myself to get out to the social event and it always makes me feel better for getting out there. I feel that the excuse to need time alone would damage me.

I also wonder about the don’t apologise for ‘tell the truth’, I have learnt that actually biting my tongue and not saying the exact truth is better for some relationships and therefore my MH.

I guess the problem with that post is that it’s a ‘one size fits all’ when really it depends on people’s issues, relationships, situation. There are too many variables and it isn’t backed up with professional support, I think maybe it’s quite damaging to put crap like that out there.

Yes, I think you're right. She was also friends with that smug one with the kids and an upturned nose wasn't she? then all of a sudden, nothing.
Do you remember the Christmas gift exchange video where she lost it because the other two hadn't put on a Christmas jumper. She'd apparently sent them an email in the middle of the night with requirements that needed to be met for this gift giving video. She seems to suck the fun out of everything and is such a control freak. Louise looked not amused. The only reason I remember it was because it was so uncomfortable to watch. This was around the time she claims her mental health went down. I bet she tried to use mental health as an excuse for her behaviour but LP probably saw her for what she was and that this was just her terrible personality.

I actually can’t stand mental health awareness week. Know why?? Influencers.
Influencers have ruined it.
It’s all almost become like a competition of who’s had it worse and it’s almost like they’re bragging that they’ve had therapy and a big woe is me declaration. They capitalise on it and it’s disgusting.
And a lot of it is almost guilt tripping and manipulation (yes I’m looking at you Emma) as we know fine well you say it was because of us on tattle.

Yes but their MH problems are always linked to trolling. An easy solution would be to end their vlogging career and go back to ‘real life’ if they can’t cope with any form of criticism.

I did laugh at babs saying ‘think before you leave a mean comment’ yet she allows mean comments from her minions to stay up on her posts when they’re defending her. The only reason she removed the post where the key worker was being trolled is because we discussed it so much on here. Practice what you preach babs.

Oh my gosh I just watched the gift exchange back and it’s the most awkward video on earth. Brummy screaming at the other two to open presents and it reeks of forced fun! The other two look like they’re desperate to get out

I watched it too! Shes SO crass - swearing, being crude...its dreadful. I was bum-cringing through it!
She called them B*$t***s for not wearing a jumper - if they were real friends it might have passed for real banter...but it's so forced it just seems agressive.

Love the way shes trying to push that Katie woman out of the whole thing. Talking over her...and squeezing her out!! If I was Louise I'd worry about what a video like that would do to my image...no wonder they dont speak anymore...

At one point she says “leave a comment below if you think Louise should do porn on her instagram” when no one had even mentioned anything close to that!! I bet Louise was so embarrassed to be associated with her

I turned it off before that....it was so bad.

How humiliating. Shes obviously the kind of person who likes to embarrass others to make herself look good or "funny". What a head.

She’s like an overexcited child who gets carried away and just blurts out something to
make people laugh, but then everyone just politely nods 😆

Brummy went to therapy because somebody had the audacity to disagree with things she said. This is where I blame her parents and Stephen for enabling her. They still do it. Why she wants to flaunt her naked body over the internet and not expect comments is beyond me. Seeking therapy because someone told her that the children were on porn sites? Still went ahead and posted more pictures of them in swimming costumes though!
She is so eager to get on instagram the moment she wakes up that no thought has gone in to what she is posting. So much of what she posts is passive aggressive and then she wonders why people get so pissed off with her.

What has all this social media “awareness of mental health” actually achieved? From what I can see it’s just enabling dickheads to be selfish but assert you can’t call them out on it “because mental health!” and people who are genuinely experiencing issues don’t seem any more able to access the help they need 🤷🏼‍♀️

She really thinks it gives her some kind of social boost that she paid for therapy. Shes mentioned it so much and always points out that she 'went private'.
NHS mental health services are without a doubt the absolute god tier of mental health input. No other services comes close, she's missed the mark so far on this one.
As a senior mental health nurse in liaison psychiatry I've assessed many patients around the country who have paid for private counselling, private rehab, private psychiatry (mostly to get a specific diagnosis) and not once have I seen any benefit from it, especially compared to the work done in NHS mental health services.
She's so thick its unbelievable.

None of those are mental illnesses though, they're just parts of her personality. A few sessions of therapy wouldnt do anything to help her with that. The only benefit she'd have seen was that it fed her ego to have someone listen to her complain.
As said above, at least she didnt try to take up any time from actual secondary care mental health services, not that she would be entertained for a second.
Oh no, fully agreed that they arent MH issues. And when people with actual MH problems aren't able to access support no way would she have got a look in! I just feel she actually has some things that she could have tried working on- instead, as you say, therapy was a massive ego stroke for her!!

(AD) I’m quite shocked she hasn’t mentioned lying fully clothed in the shower. It must have been devastating for her - lying there in her broken mental state & seeing all the soap marks & limescale that builds up over time. Especially if the shower hasn’t been cleaned for a couple of years. If only she’d known about “ScumAway“ - one spray of this 100% eye watering bleach clears away all trace of stubborn marks & stains. It may even get rid of annoying Tattlers when they tell it how it really is. Ha! Ha! Ha!
NB: Keep away from children, animals &, in fact, any living thing. This substance is particularly flammable when exposed to synthetic materials such as leggings & extra tight bra tops. So, if you do need to lie flat & start weeping uncontrollably in the shower, please wear appropriate clothing.
