Damon has just met Debbie...
You did better than me. I lasted about 3 weeks. How far are we in now? I lost interest but I remember the Jordache era and I’m here for it when it arrives![]()
The next episode where Doreen was home was the following Monday’s episode. There would have been nearly a week’s gap between the previous episode on the Wednesday (I think) when the glass in the door was still broken to that first episode where we saw Doreen again on the Monday. So we have to assume that the door was mended in those in between days.Very unfortunate name for that dog!
That was funny when the women were calling Billy, I'd have lost my tit to!
Did I miss something, the glass door got broken, then next Doreen was home, door mended, nothing said??
I keep forgetting there was such a gap between episodes! The next episode where Doreen was home was the following Monday’s episode. There would have been nearly a week’s gap between the previous episode on the Wednesday (I think) when the glass in the door was still broken to that first episode where we saw Doreen again on the Monday. It was a bit daft doing it that way though as I was looking forward to seeing Doreen’s reaction
Thought I recognised her, normally ask the husband when there's an old face turn up but he then goes on one for ten minutes telling me how old they are now, or if they're dead, other TV programmes they've appeared in etc, he's like a walking Wikipedia for the 80 and 90s TV and musicDid anybody notice Claire Sweeney was in the fifth episode this week?
She was playing a character called Paula, who was the girlfriend of Damon’s mate Mark. Damon got them to babysit his little sister for him whilst he went out
She wasn’t actually in the credits for some reason. I can’t remember if her character spoke or not so she probably didn’t get a credit as she was classed as an extraThought I recognised her, normally ask the husband when there's an old face turn up but he then goes on one for ten minutes telling me how old they are now, or if they're dead, other TV programmes they've appeared in etc, he's like a walking Wikipedia for the 80 and 90s TV and musicI did mean to check her name in the credits but forgot.
and when Sheila finally got to Rome she hasn’t stopped whinging about the things she doesn’t like about the placeThe storyline of going to Rome has been absolutely flogged to pieces
The same ground going over and over again, by the time they'd actually got there, I forwarded through it all.
The rest of this weeks episodes were enjoyable but the Grants Senior, what a bore fest.
New characters incoming....
Especially as there appeared to be access on the lawns in front of the houses on the other side of the close, the ones next to the Grants whose residents don’t feature in the showI don't remember the sink hole or the new couple!
I'd have parked my car on the grass to, they were all taking the piss driving over it!
The actress who plays Doreen is in it briefly, the itv drama Until I kill you, first time I've seen her in anything since Brookside!
I thought the same, why couldn't they go around the other side!Especially as there appeared to be access on the lawns in front of the houses on the other side of the close, the ones next to the Grants whose residents don’t feature in the show
I don't remember this at all! Just done a search, blimey!I can’t understand for Sheila being such a god fearing woman that Bobby turns out not to be Barry’s dadI’m sure only time will tell
