Yes George doesn’t deserve what he’s going through but he was a bit daft and naive though. Who gives a complete stranger a detailed floor plan of a warehouse?

Oh heck, this George story line is sad
I think this is the difference between watching it in your teens and then as an adult
Fantastic acting from Our Marie again, love her!

I’m still loving the Brookside reruns - but the free George campaign storyline does drag on a bit.
I’m not sure if the three nurses bring much to the close. I didn’t like their big storyline at the time (I wanted something more realistic).

I’m hoping to see more of Tommy Mcardle and Victor!

I can still vividly remember how Annabelle realises there's something wrong at their house
during the siege.
It stuck in my mind from when I was a kid!
She asks Kate if everything is okay and obviously she can't talk so she calls her "Bella" which she never does - to indicate that she can't talk freely.
Couldn't remember a thing for my German exam in school but I remember this piece of unhelpful trivia.

Yes, it does go on for quite a while but I suppose it would in reality, I keep thinking that the solicitor doesn't seem to do any digging around/work/enquiries on George's behalf, hes up in court in a few days and still only has half the facts
Harry Cross is just so funny at the moment and I love the little digs Edna gets in now and again

I'm not sure it's soon but it was their first sensationalist storyline to compete with the other serials...taking it out of the gritty, Northern reality and into soapland.

I am still loving the Brookside reruns. Back in the day I would be watching it Monday and Tuesday - and then the repeat on Saturday!
it can’t be too far off now - before we have the vasectomy storyline (Bobby and Sheila). This storyline really annoyed me back in 1985 - as it was all about Sheila’s refusal to use contraception because of her catholic faith. I grew up in Liverpool (catholic) and cannot recall any catholics refusing to use contraception in the 1980s. It’s only a soap - but it did annoy me at the time as it was so OTT.

Incredible how different things are from then to now. I can't believe a line that Marie just came out with about Kate... Same with Coronation Street.
