Omg. This is huge! I wonder what happened, there’s no way he just stepped down out of the goodness of his heart.

He’s been cruising along for years while Britney had a lawyer who did nothing for her and she couldn’t choose. The second she gets a lawyer who fights for her, he gives up. It sounds like Rosengart is digging everything up not just to have him removed but to have him charged. I guess giving up as conservator is the only thing he can do to make himself look like he cares.

The fans are on it every second of every day. I just read that Ali Simms (Brits cousin who she’s not allowed to see) confirmed Lynne drugged B’s drink with a sedative in 2008/9

I’m hoping so hard that for her sake, he’s genuine. I don’t have a great feeling about this, to be honest.

EDIT: I’m probably too much of a skeptic but the timing of their engagement is leaving me feel uneasy. This is too smooth sailing with everything going on.

Are people thinking that she is being drugged for these videos or something? I’m not sure what to think to be honest. All I know for sure is that the conservatorship is fucked up.

I just put my Britney best of on to play in the car while doing the school run and god, that girl had some BANGERS! I was singing my heart out to Toxic, Boys, My Prerogative etc. All the while thinking of her and hoping she is safe.

Kevin is another parasite who used her, he left his pregnant gf for Britney, got two kids out of her and therefore lifelong riches. I'm glad he seems to be looking after his kids, that's the least he can do. But I bet there's nannies and seeing as he doesn't seem to actually, you know DO ANYTHING, why the hell shouldn't he raise his own kids?

I hope to god Sam is genuine, Britney deserves some happiness. I hope she gets out of this soon and the public pressure speeds it up. I heard a congressman had raised the whole issue of conservatorships, so maybe some political pressure will come to bare. Then I hope Britney is able to tell her story before living her best life however it is that she wants to. God knows she deserves to make her own choices.

She sounded great today and came across very well. I think when all this started her dad did have her best interests at heart especially as that ex hubby of hers would have bled her dry but as they years have gone on he's taken the piss out of her. I just hope the new boyfriend really does have her best interests at heart and isn't going to use her. Love Brit.

Personally I don’t think her dad had ever had her best interests at heart. They done everything to make her a superstar.
I just know a normal loving dad would never do anything like this to their child!

I never knew much about britney, but her story has me hooked.

I understand lindsay loan's conservatorship was abandoned as she didn't really have any money left at the time, well nothing like the millions the others had. I'm surprised at Amanda Bynes having enough money to make it worthwhile for the evil lou, I like to think her parents really have her best interests at heart, at she hasn't been made to be the workhorse britney was.

Anyone else remember mischa Barton was sectioned after a tooth extraction, I wonder if lou attempted the same thing with her?

Charlie sheen, Robert Downey Junior and Kayne West all had very public mental illness episodes and no one came forward to strong arm them into a c'ship - it appears to be something that happens to female celebrities that need to be 'guided' (controlled) by the men in their lives. Kanye seemed to effortlessly dodge the 5150's and has now moved away from Kim / Kris. I wonder if khloe's husband was placed under one??

Britney's father seems to be treating her like a naughty teenager, grounding her, withholding her allowance, not letting her have junk foods, forbidding her from seeing friends etc. Only rewarding her with a nail appointment, or new hair extensions if she completes all her chores. Not letting her go shopping as she has loads of clothes and too much money is being spent etc.

He's the nightmare controlling parent who can't let go, and he's making her pay him for the privilege of Daddy knows best.

I hope that she is allowed to freeze some if her eggs if she really wants more children, as this conservatorship won't be sorted for a long time.

You are so right about the male thing. I’ve always wondered why Michael Jackson wasn’t put into a conservatorship as well but… He’s not a female. If Britney Spears was a man, this absolutely would never have happened to her.

Several self-professed "insiders" have been saying for a while that the boyfriend is complicit.

I don't hold a lot of hope for her freedom, sadly ... the judge presiding over this latest judgment is the same one who signed off on the conservatorship.

I can't believe they are allowed to use the same judge like this, I would have thought it would be sensible to get another judge, like you can get a second opinion from a doctor

So many people have benefited from Britney’s conservatorship for a long time. Now that she is in a position of power, they’re scrambling to be on the “right side”.

Again, we all don’t know her medical history, but past behaviour does indicate Mental Health issues, which don’t go away. Again, we’re all entitled to our own opinion.

Past behaviour that was over a decade ago? That gets to dictate the rest of someone's life with no chance to show things have changed? Or are we talking about her social media, which again, we don't even know she runs. We are entitled to our opinions, we are also entitled to disagree with them. It scares me that people who claim to be pro freeing Britney, can do that whilst simultaneously wanting to keep huge restrictions on her because they feel fit to judge her apparent 'capacity'.

I don't think it's her, either. The documentaries are part of the reason why her case is getting this attention now and ultimately I think part of why it will end. Britney is not highly educated but I think she's smart enough to understand that. It sounds more like something a fan would say. When she mentioned her family in court she was 100% focused on her living and working situation and the control they had on her day to day life, so I have to wonder why she would single out a performance the sister did when her overall lack of support and seeming to side with the father was the much bigger problem.

The family have been leeching off Britney for over 20 years now. Let’s face it it’s in all their best interests to keep her under conservatorship and they are now starting to shit themselves the gravy train us about to stop.
Britney like us deserves to have her medical records kept private. However I have my doubts she could have performed in the way she has with her Vegas residency etc if she is as ill as they are trying to say she is. She perhaps does need some support with her health and in her day to day life/decision making, let someone independent who won’t profit from her do it. In the same way that social work would have guardianship for vulnerable people here.

Me too. It’s amazing how much damage your own family can do to you, particularly under the veil of faith! I really feel the only way Britney can ever be happy is to give away all her money and live a humble, free life. At least that way she’ll know who she can actually trust!

She deserves her money though she’s worked since she was 9 years old!! She still loves her job too, she said in court that she should be able to take a 2/3 year break if she wants but of course whatever she chooses to do I just want her to be happy, healthy and have for her to have her freedom. If that means she never performs again and never wants to be in the public eye again we will all support that.

She has made her career and money off the back of who her sister is. She got pregnant at sixteen to her older boyfriend who was sixteen when she was fourteen. Even K Fed hasn't milked Britney over the years. I cannot remember when I last saw him anywhere and I don't think he does social media.

When the boys were younger we saw more of kfed. He was instrumental getting Britney into rehab for the first time back in 08. He’s getting more than enough out of Britney. She pays child support which will no doubt keep his entire family. What will happen when the boys turn 18? because I’m pretty sure the last time I checked he didn’t have a job. As for JL she’s absolutely had a career off the back of Britney. Her first daughters dad is not who they want you to think it is either. Britney pays for them all. What’s JL done recently other than the sweet magnolias on Netflix? I can not wait for the day when Britney can just cut them all off (if that is her wish) or actually does sue them all!!
