Closed for Business is one of my favesI'm going. I enjoyed the Six tour even if he obviously was not in a great place at the time. He seems a lot happier and healthier now, gone are the days of the rambling social media outbursts so I really hope he's turned his life around. I am so excited to hear all the Mansun singles, especially "Closed For Business" as I never heard that live back in the day!
I highly recommend going to gigs alone - I've done that since the 90s and it's absolutely worth it

I have no idea about the split, but I do know there was a lot of bad blood between them and the North East music scene after they were signed to EMI...their song Punka is essentially ripping the piss out of the independent record label/surrounding scene that put on their first gigs and released their first record. That tune did NOT go down well!
