This thread is just as bad a Pippa's. No one can disagree or have an opinion or your homophobic now! He speaks of a child like it's an accessory! Same as all influencers child now becomes a cash cow.

I used to really like Brian and Oar-thur and thought they were a cute couple -but they sickened me with the OTT glam (esp Brian) for nights out, flogging socks, Pippa’s crap and freebies galore in hotels, etc. To the point that I unfollowed them on social and turned the telly off when either of them were on. I really don’t like them but as someone says it doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a child that’s so wanted. Just hope the wee dote doesn’t become a prop and free content for earning a living for them like so many Instas do with their kids. Nothing to do with them being gay at all!

I agree…thing is, Mark Feehily has actual talent whereas these 2 freeloaders have nothing. Arthur may have been a dancer years ago in his prime but now he’s just bloated and washed up. Sorry to be harsh but even putting the lack of talent aside, Brian and Arthur are beneath Z list celebdom and it’s all made worse by the scabbing and begging for whatever is free. I’m not bothered by any of them, Brian’s sister included. She’s looking to break through and be a IG begger and make a few bob doing sweet feck all - just like the rest of them. Hope the bubble bursts on this shit soon.

To be fair to Brian & Arthur I always got the impression (long before the surrogacy) that they already seemed to look after Aoife. In fact (and I have absolutely no reason why) I always felt a little sad that she seemed to be on her own and that B&A thought so too and they seemed to out of their way to include her.

I'm sorry for saying this but if they get a baby just goes to money can buy anything. No way would Brian b able to cope. Do feel sorry for Arthur as I think he would be great. But they would have 2 cut down on their over sharing everything and step away from th blog. However most of income comes from that.

Strange comment, egg donation, surrogacy and adoption, whatever route they would go down to have a baby, are all available to anyone to apply for or pursue. Many couples have their families by these methods already. Sure they aren’t cheap but they aren’t just for the rich. Are you against these techniques/methods in general or is there something specific to their case?

We can all pretend in la la land this will all have a happy ending because they're a gay couple and it's amazing alot of us now know same sec couples who have kids and it's not a walk in the park most are obvious to see which woman ect carried the baby. I'm sure baby will be loved but they're too overboard it's going yo be a huge shift in all their lives and I don't think having your sister carry your baby was the right decision it's wayyý too close to home and with 2 men with big personalitys she won't get a minute from what I can see and she's too close to stay away either everyone will be told she's grand and I'm sure aoife thinks she'll be fine but nothing prepares u for those after birth hormones.

Yeah I get you. He said on the podcast with Zoe that Aoife won’t hold the baby when it arrives, that it will go straight to Brian and Arthur and Aoife will go into a separate room to recover after. I think she will spend a few weeks at her sisters then and not be around the baby for about a month. I hope she will be ok.

I hope it works out for them, I really do, however, I just don’t think any amount of counselling could prepare a person for what’s to come. If they weren’t closely related and in each other’s lives so much, then maybe, but having a month away or something along those lines, it feels like that would be quite traumatic, especially to later introduce yourself back in to their lives. They’ll be in a new routine/way of life that none of them can imagine right now so she won’t just slot back in. That in itself will be a trauma, especially as they’re all so attached right now. I hope I’m wrong

Lovely news. Arthur will be a natural at it not sure with Brian. It might make him less of a diva but we'll have to wait and see.

Just edited to add I'm delighted for them both. Think it's been said before they'll be great parents I just think Arthur will be more hands on changing nappies etc... I'll stop now.

I wonder what these pair of eegits will do for money when the baby arrives…Most of us have solid jobs that pay every month. What will they do? Paid IG ads? Selling your story to RTE and VIP mag? That money will only last so long with Brian’s daily makeup/hair/Botox and filler costs eating into their budget! Brian would also need to grow a pair and start learning to drive because if Oothur ever has a job or emergency that takes him away, Brian’s left with a baby and what do you do if you need to get a baby to an appointment or a doctor? My eyes roll so far in my head with these 2 (well Aoife makes 3 now) they may never come down!
PS Arthur can’t dance. Flapping your arms back and forward and moving your leg ain’t dancing!

Anyway I’ve noticed that neither of them ever give a mention to anything tragic. They said nothing at all about Ashling Murphy not even a curtesy RIP.

I am open to being corrected but I thing Arthur did actually mention last night on the 6 Show about it and how he struggles to talk about it as it brings back a lot of bad personal memories..which I can understand. He must have gone through a horrific time and obviously struggles still

Just watched Arthur’s stories this morning and have to say my heart goes out to them…I think it was the first time in a long time that he spoke from the heart and I would love to see more of this from himself and Brian (who I know puts on an act a lot).

I feel sad for the sister if I’m being honest …. I know that it’s a lovely selfless thing she is doing . But it’s for her brother who she will be seeing so much after the baby is born and I nearly feel like it’s a naive decision she and they have made in terms of the post partum period .

usually with surrogacy the baby is born and handed straight to the new parents never to see he again with this baby it will be handed to the new parents but the mother who birthed the baby is still around and the baby will know the mothers smell and voice etc and whenever Aoife will see the baby it will more than likely be attached to her in the early weeks and it sounds like it would be alot to take in mentally and physically even with your natural milk supply.

i would worry about how that would effect her mentally post partum and i Almost think Brian and Arthur will be obvious. Sure even know asking her how she’s feeling and what her cravings are and she says a few he questions and it’s immediately well from tomorrow you won’t be eating that! I know it’s a joke to him probably but it’s all insensitive
