There you are making assumptions again.
Pot.kettle.black.
Good day to you!

Depending on position and age of child breastfeeding generally leaves me with one free hand to use my phone, which is obviously the main reason I choose to continue 😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG are you STILL talking??
Im so glad you enlightened me on how you manage to juggle parenting skills #blessed #wonderwoman 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hahahahaha Down with that sort of thing!! 🤣🤣🤣

I have four children and breastfed them all, not all for the same length of time and never for longer than a year. One thing I’ve never understood is why people are so interested in how the next woman feeds her child. None of my business and I was always too exhausted to care 🤣
Indeed. Seems once you have a baby your body becomes public property

IMO she should keep how she’s feeding him private. There’s no need at all to share that unless she’s making money out of it 🤷🏽‍♀️
I kinda agree but also she’s shared everything else so we know she’s gonna share that

She will find a way to make money out of anything. It’s what she does best. Let hope she labels it properly

Yes, I would try. I obviously meant non-human milk as per the earlier sentence :)

LOL. Dairy is milk produced by mammals to feed their young ones. For some reason, humans feed their babies milk meant for calves 🤔
It's so strange isn't it. I couldn't breastfeed with my first he wouldn't take to it at all I was devestated. Going to try with this baby and keep my fingers crossed! X

There's no need to, but there's no need for most of what she does!

I hope it was a vag, the poor mites immunity needs all the help with her toxic home.

Im really pro breastfeeding - fed my daughter until she was 2 and 13 months in with my son. What no one really tells you is the total exhaustion you will suffer feeding a new born baby every 2 hours around the clock. What I find really frustrating is the number of women I’ve met who seemingly just use “I didn’t produce enough milk” as an excuse. It’s supply and demand - the more you feed/express the more milk you make. Honestly in real life I’ve not even met a single mum who has actually been honest and has said I just didn’t want to breast feed as it’s always veiled with an excuse.
Well bully for you Hun. Its none of your business what way any mother chooses to feed her baby so why does it matter to you. And if you think motherhood is "difficult and exhausting" when they are babies - boy do you have a treat in store when they are teens and older and making their own decisions in life. These are the easy years lol.
Its a looong way down from that high horse you are sitting on. 🙄

If she is bottle feeding and in any way shape or form and promotes formula milk, she's risking having her Instagram account shut down by Instagram, it is against their policy to break the law on your account.

She also did a question asking people if they recommend sma or aptamil "if she wasnt able to breastfeed". I mean what kind of fanny makes decisions about their baby's health based on an Instagram poll?

She has probably already breached the WHO Code on promoting formula by sharing that machine. Bets she'll have broken the law before junior is even out of hospital???
Exactly. My money is she’ll be basing her decision on how offers the most £££! The way she’s gone about it is so sneaky, if these followers will buy a pen because she uses it I don’t doubt for a minute they won’t use the same formula because she uses it.

Id rather not use the term adverse affects , don't want to be accused of vilifying! Rather - - benefits of breastfeeding. There are many but the most published research shows breastfed babies/adults have higher IQ, are at lower risk of many physical diseases and improved mental health. Mums health risks are also lowered with regards to many cancers and other diseases.
Google will give you all you want to find. 🙂
that didnt answer the question

Genuine question why would promoting formula be against the law? Nothing to do with the Grinch (as much as I want her account gone) just curious in general.
It’s against the law to advertise or promote formula. This means it can never be discounted as well.
Don’t know why, I guess to improve BF rates as the uk have the lowest in the world?
I breastfeed but don’t have anything against FF

There is nothing wrong with breastfeeding longer term - I only fed mine for a year, but I get the impression lots of women feed a lot longer and just don’t talk about it. It’s quite hard to get a baby off the breast, they just love it. So I can easily see some children want to carry on when they’re 4,5.

However there is a particular type of woman who seems obsessed with childbirth and breastfeeding, often stretching out the brief obsession you have when your own are tiny for many years after their children have grown up- frequently these women train as breastfeeding councillors or hypnobirthing trainers, or something centred around that birth experience. They’ll often enthusiastically longer term feed.

These are the women who you’ll see arguing on mumsnet about weaning and virgin gut theory even though their children are teenagers.
And that is exactly the type of woman who would go to the daily mirror to do a story on breastfeeding her children in the playground 😂

Whilst I’m really grateful that these women use their obsessions to do things like train as a BF counsellor, the other end of the stick is that I do think they can cause anxiety to new mums with the ie hysterical weaning debates

Quoting myself as I didn't get a chance to finish typing.

I call those sort of mothers ' the breastapo' .
Breastfeeding into toddler hood, especially at night time is still done by a percentage of families, but privately as these mothers don't brag about it . It’s often the case that the mother wants to stop feeding before the child . It is only the breastapo sort or the earth mothers that people think breastfeed an older baby , when in reality it's mothers that want an easy life as they know it's the easiest way for them to get their baby to sleep.

I also hate the term 'fed is best. I would replace it with 'fed is necessary ' as that applies to a new mother too ( and everyone else)

It is perfectly good it keeps babies alive, helps them to grow and satisfies hunger.

I had this discussion with a health visitor, breastfeeding is very under reported. I know from personal experience I was never asked if I was still breastfeeding at the 2 year check, and in fact they ticked no each time without even checking. I was still breastfeeding past the age of 2. Breastfeeding older children carries a lot of stigma, fear of being reported to social services (which has happened to people) or just noone asking the questions. I was part of the la leche league for a few years and there were a lot of mums still breastfeeding at 4 or 5 years. It.would be good to get more accurate figures.
I know in NI health visitors massively misreport the levels of breastfeeding. It says at the front of our children’s health record books that bf should still be recorded at “total” after 6 months if it is the main source of milk intake, alongside complementary foods. However many HV still circle “partial” for bf because people are obviously weaning babies on to solids at 6 months.

We don’t even have a section for bf at the 2yr check. I have bf all mine until over age 2, but there is no record of that and so no stats on it at all.

Ok Thankyou. I can only comment on my own experiences. I can't prove or disprove any of the above. I can only say, my children have all had to have formula. As explained, I had no milk with all 4 pregnancies. So far my eldest is heading to 6th form and my others are doing well. My youngest has autism..But that isn't connected. I'm thankful for each of them. My nan breastfed 7.They're all so different, intelligence and healthwise. Lots of factors contribute to our health and maybe some of it is fate?
Absolutely, breastfeeding will not prevent lots of conditions , it's just risk lowering. Genetics/fate probably play a bigger role.

No real science involved in being a breastfeeding counsellor obviously. That’s what this ENTIRE conversation was about when you tried to shut it down with your kelly mom links.

You might think everyone who disagrees with your passionate breastfeeding arguments is too thick to “do science” but you would be wrong, and also embodying everything other women hate about what they refer* to as breastfeeding nazis

*very unkindly, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t describe the patronising bull illustrated over the last few pages
