I never buy from M&S nowadays and when I have been measured there in the past they always got it wrong!

I like Fantasie bras so I buy them online wherever I find them the cheapest (as they're a bit pricey).

My daughter is a B and she likes the Boux Avenue bras.

Has anyone a good online measure yourself guide? I did one a while ago which said I was a 30e. I’ve been waring a 32c for years so I’m not sure that it was right. I know I need to go in to get measured properly but I’m lazy 🤷‍♀️
I was wearing a C cup and the online guides told me I was an E. I didn’t believe them as I never thought of myself as particularly large chested. I went to get measured at a reputable bra shop and they put me in F cups - a perfect fit! It is worth trying new sizes.

La Perla is my lingerie of choice. Occasionally Rigby and Peller too. Sports Bras are mostly Lululemon, Under Armour or Sweaty Betty 👙

Curvy Kate’s Scantilly line is pretty sexy! Also I recently discovered Playful Promises which has some really pretty and sexy sets as well! (I’ve signed up to their subscriptions and they've done free underwear when you buy a bra promos quite a lot so you might even get a deal!)
Thanks ladies, I’ve not heard of curvy Kate or playful promises before so I’ll have a butchers! I had a set from M&S last year and didn’t find the quality that great (which surprised me as they’re usually pretty good when it comes to quality) I’ve had a lot of Freya bra’s over the years which I’ve loved but nothing has ever screamed sexy to me. Could just be me though 😂 I suppose if all else fails I could just cut nipple holes out of a mediocre bra 🤣

Has anyone stopped wearing one. Since the first lockdown when I lived in my pjs I haven’t got back to putting one on. I have a big bust but feel so much better without one on.
I have no tits but used to wear padded bras all the time because I was self conscious. Since the first lockdown I now only wear bralet/sports bra type things and just go bra-less with nipple covers otherwise. Flat as an ironing board but I don’t care anymore and kind of think it looks quite fashionable anyway. When I was a teen it was all about cleavage and having your bra straps showing was the done thing 😂

wunderbra!!!!!
Thank you so much for the recommendation, never had a wunderbra before, so ordered a few sizes… oh my. What a game changer. I have a strapless bra that stays in place!!

my new issue is matching pants because I really dislike the Wonderbra pants (I’m a thong girl), and obviously I went for a patterned bra but it’s so pretty and comfy.. and fits!

I love Boux Avenue but damn their website is a mess. All those influenzers and love islanders  Just show me the damn bra on a white background so I know what the fuck I'm actually buying. You can tell Boux hate the trend for unpadded. All the desciptions on those are so passive aggressive :ROFLMAO:
I hate the fact that everything in Boux has about a 4 inch wedge of padding at the base of the cup.

Lol tried the boob or bust calculator for a laugh and apparently I’m a 28E 😂 I’m flat as a pancake but have quite a broad upper back area and pec muscles so I think it throws the calculator off. I think I’m a 30B officially but I do sometimes wear a 30C/32A or 32B usually because it’s hard to get 30 backs anywhere, and tbh I only ever wear proper bras for ✨dressing up✨ if you catch my drift! There’s nothing to support really.

I tried boob or bust and brought one bra in my recommended size. Fits like a glove! Thanks so much for the recommendation, I’ve to replace all my worn out 32Cs now for I have seen the light 😂
Could have written this post myself. Thanks to the poster who put Boob or Bust on. I put my measurements in and a new size popped up. The bras in the new size arrived today and the fit is perfect - so much more comfortable and supportive.
I think my old bras will all have to go.

Used the boob or bust measuring tool and I’m 44JJ. Oh my god. Not going to find that size in Marks am I. Actually I can’t find anywhere that stocks that size.
I agree, you probably won't find that size in Marks. Rigby & Peller is likely to stock that size though it will be expensive. As another poster said, it's worth looking at Ebay for unusual sizes. I have bought a couple recently, having realised I'm in the wrong size (from advice here) and they have been really good value and quality. I've bought Panache and Fantasy for around £15 new.

Usually Bravissimo, I got the last ones at M&S and they have been rubbish as 2 of them have shoulder straps that crease and dig in. I have a narrow back and large cup size so think the straps should have been a bit wider.
The bras at Tesco look nice but don’t have my size.

I don’t wear bras day to day, I’m only a A/B so I usually just wear bralet things or crop tops. For fancy lingerie I love boux avenue, bluebella, asos, the odd thing in primark. Also M&S is pretty good, back when I wore proper bras I got all mine from there.

Hey! Any suggestions for where to buy reasonably priced bras with a lot of support for a bigger bust that don’t look like granny bras? I’m a 38K and sick of spending £30+ per bra 😂 a lot of places don’t do large sizes.
I would ebay old stock bravissimo bras. Some on there pre owned but several new and not granny style and not with the bravissimo price tag!

Try boob or Bust and use their online calculator . They have a Facebook group too. A lot of the posts are people saying they had a smaller band size and a larger cup size than they were wearing in high street bras .
Also , you can measure yourself 'properly ' at home.

If you have a narrow back then your cup size will seem large. I'm currently a 32E but if I go to 34 then I go down a cup size. Also if you've been wearing the wrong sized bra then a properly fitting bra will feel a bit uncomfortable at 1st.

Can’t recommend Bravissimo enough. I went a couple weeks back and the ladies in there were so helpful. They just looked at me and said you’re this size. Finally have proper fitted bras. I’m nursing and they had a good selection in the nursing range too. I’ll definitely go back when I’m no longer nursing to be remeasured.

So, I’m either about to have my bra life revolutionised, or the boob or bust calculator is just plain wrong

Apparently I’m a 28 E/F?! I’m flat as a pancake 🤣 and have spent years wearing 30B/32A 🤣

Also, can anyone advise where i might be able to get a low back, strapless white or nude bra.. my wedding dress has a back that is slightly lower than a normal bra strap, but I don’t want to use a backless bra or anything as I’ve never worn one before
wunderbra!!!!!

I recently bought two bras from M&S in same size. One too big, other too small! 😥

Bras are such a pain honestly
