I caught up with the Boyzone documentary while off sick. It was sad in a few places, and Louis is a
bleep. Stephen's lovely sister, bless her, her contributions were good. I hope Mikey can find peace and just remember the good bits.
However I loved being transported back to my adolescence. I was 15 when Stephen was outed, and I remember it was big news in my South London don all girls school classroom. However the unanimous reaction, from Boyzone fans and those who didn't care for boybands at all, was "so what? That's his business, as long as he is happy." Homophobia was no doubt rife still in those times, but us young 'uns didn't care. I'm glad that came across to him from the crowds after he had all that pressure and upset. I also hope in a roundabout way that a weight was lifted after living a lie, even if it did happen in such a gross manner.
Keith and Shane seem like such fun guys. Ronan is a bit of a
gob but I still like him, there is an insecure earnest guy under that arrogance.
This is absolute solid gold

the outfits, the Irish accent rap, the girlies loving their part... I too forgot it existed. What a time.
They were both so gorgeous! And still are, but I'm disappointed Keith fixed his teeth. I have since found out he did a documentary called Keith's Teeth: A Dental Odyssey and I need to figure out how to watch this in the UK.
