It might have been Mikey came across as bit of a fragile character too though. He was a bit spoilt child and woe is me. Sound harsh but I think he could be hard work to be around.
A lot of the shooting felt a bit strange the car park all they band sitting in dark rooms. The odd bit where they would have Louis speak to himself or where the guy asked for the water. I know they were trying to create an atmosphere but it came across a bit ‘media studies project’.

As awful as he is, Louis clearly knows what works not listening to the guy about Ronan. He was also told by Simon to get rid of Shane from Westlife in the early days

Very different documentary. You actually got to know the band members and what the lead up to Zepplin being formed and becoming successful (hence the name

But jings these guys seemed far happier than the boyzone mob. Particularly Robert Plant who described being homeless and going everywhere with his brown suitcase before Zepplin. 50 odd years on I got the feeling he was grateful for the success.
They did allude to relentless touring in the early days and how hard this was for the 3 guys with families and how they didn't have tour buses in those days but they knew they had to do this to break the band.
It didn't go beyond 1970 so you didn't get any information about the 70s tours and the debauchery that happened. Nor did they ask about John Bonhams death
But I felt it was a fabulous documentary and this is what No Matter What could have been with a bit more impartiality.

When I was looking through their back catalogue, it really was mental how many covers they did!
I guess their biggest original song was Picture of You, which Ronan co-wrote. Still gets played on the radio, a good little bop.
Oh well I thought that was a cover too lol. I wasn't really a boyzone fan or a fan of boybands in general
