I’ve watched two episodes already.

It’s not quite what I was expecting. I know all of Robbie and Jason’s voice overs are taken from old interviews, but you can’t really tell which parts are new interviews with Gary, Howard and Mark because it’s all done in voice over.

Story wise it’s nothing new. If you were a fan in the 90s you know the story inside out. Having said that the nostalgia is brilliant, and the never seen before footage is nice, but realistically this whole series would have been pointless without new footage.

Looking forward to the final episode because their redemption arc / making up with Robbie always gets me in the feels.
Glad it is not all new stuff as I have just cancelled Netflix.

Never on my radar back in the day but discovered 'Be alone no more' earlier this year and it's one of the best boy band songs ever imo! And they're currently number one with freaky in the TOTP classics on bbc4 😅
They did remind me of a prototype Blue, don't know why they weren't bigger?
Oh yes. I discovered this in lockdown and it’s a banger!

It used to be the theme tune so some channel 4 summer kids/teen show I used to love. I cannot remember what it was or called maybe something about a summer camp. Anyway I loved it.
Oh my god yes!!! Wasn't it about some teenager actors trying to make it in America or something like that?! What a flashback!

What's everyone's views on Sean? He always seemed so quiet years ago but he seemed like a character on the big reunion show. I really like him, he seems down to earth and decent.

i’m seeing them on Weds and I’m so excited!!
Was gutted to hear they actually dont like one of my fav songs- so wont be hearing that live 😭 but i’ll survive 🤣

Also can understand why the 3 member reunion didnt work- jay and Abz totally carried that band! They are the lead on every song basically
What one?

They seem to get on now but wasn’t there always a divide between Cheryl, Nicola, Kimberley being really close and issues with Nadine. Maybe they didn’t want to have to think about this kind of stuff. Weird they couldn’t be mentioned though
Yes there’s always been that bad. I always think they do not want to talk about anything like that to keep the prestige and polish up. Nothing bad or negative has ever been publicly sad about what has happened between them in the past but there must’ve been fights
Cheryl was definitely the ring leader

I know this is a happy thread but I'm having some real problems at the moment and this lurch back into a time that is nostalgic, yet was also horrific at the time, hasn't helped in the way I thought it might.

There's nobody I could say this to in real life so I'm saying it here.
Hope you’re ok xx

One of my early memories of Eternal (early as in early in their career, I would have been about 13) was them performing Stay at the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party. They were singing live, and Louise’s mic seemed to have been turned up surprisingly high for the backing vocals. Her voice was wobbling all over the place.

Just checked and it’s on YouTube! I haven’t seen this in 30 years and the vocals are as ROUGH as I remember 😂

She was beautiful though. Love the choreo.

I dont think neither Louise or Kelly had good voices.
I remember Kelly singing years ago on the MoBo awards and I still have 2nd hand embarrassment for her to this day
