I remember reading Alan Sugar wouldn’t let Mark have time off work to do the Big Reunion. I’m guessing he doesn’t work for the family business now?

I saw Eternal live not long ago, the Bennett sisters and the new French girl, they were fairly awful. The new girl was the best! (I still bopped though 🫣)

I've also seen Louise a few times and she's really good, her voice has a really pleasant tone and she still performs well. Easther was obviously an outstanding singer but she really seems to strain these days.

Every time I remember she was married to Shane from Boyzone I chuckle at the culture blend that was their wedding
I really like Shane. I admire how he turned his life around but I also find him a bit odd. I’m sure he’s spoken about quitting anything to do with showbiz because it’s not very Christian but is now happily joining the new farewell tour (how many farewell tours can one band have)

I have a soft spot for Ronan. I cried when he left Magic FM last summer 🫣

Trying to find a way to watch this documentary!

I thought this was so well done. It really gave another perspective on how they were worked to the bone
.
Interesting that only the usual faces of managers wanted to be included. None of the people who made these peoples lives tough were put on the spot. Robbie came across quite well. Interesting also who didnt want to be interviewed.

As for J from 5ive, while i was watching i searched tattle and someone had posted a few years ago that allegedly j and sean had some kind of altercation. There was a clip that was shown in the last episode from an old camcorder with richie being all upbeat backstage somewhere and suddenly a voice says stop.

It reminded me of something i heard around that time, Capital stopped playing 5ive in their heyday and the rumour was that J had done something to upset a presenter. Cant remember the full story of it though.

For years on/off Dane Bowers lived in an area of south london. I saw him food shopping years ago and not one person recognised him which i thought was nice. Even so now watching this and hearing Brian McFadden say its kind of nice he can go outside and not be mobbed now.
The J stuff was mentioned on The Big Reunion on tour. Think there’s clips on YouTube

Precious were possibly the best looking girlband. A band of models basically.

Also I'm not impressed at Jenny saying they came second last in Eurovision, they came 12th! Mid table is very respectable! And she also said they were dropped without mentioning this absolute banger

I was very young when Eternal where a thing, like 2/3 but I didn’t know Louise started off in Eternal that was new to me, I remember a few of her solo songs later on over the years.

I was GUTTED they never sang that 😢
I think there are so many songs they could have cut out to have fit Don’t Wanna Let You Go in! I enjoyed the gig but felt there was a lot of filler songs in that although I listened too all Five albums back in the day, I do not remember now. I was sat on an aisle seat and saw so much crowd movement back and forth to toilets and bars etc in the songs not everyone knew. But that being said, they did put on a great show!

I actually had to Google his age because something about his mannerisms, the way he moved his face even, seemed “old man” to me, but there was something off too, like he is declining cognitively or something? He also seemed to have aged quickly over the last few years. So I thought to myself “Oh, maybe he’s just getting on a bit, pushing 80 maybe”.

He isn’t, he’s 72. But I agree he didn’t seem entirely well or himself.
That’s what I thought. He seemed off but couldn’t put my finger on how.

Same, the era of buying a dress in Japan, shoes in Korkys, then off to Quinns or the Big tree on a Sat night, doesn't feel like 30 years ago :D
