I’m a bit surprised there’s a 3 part documentary about boyzone tbh they never seemed that interesting, although reading Ronan is an exec producer explains to a degree.
I was surprised how interesting it was tbh. More happened than I realised

I know a thing or two about a thing or two and I'm absolutely not buying that explanation of the Brian Harvey incident. Not at all. The injuries do not match the explanation.

Four Minute Warning charted too. He released it after Big Brother
Oh sorry, I don't remember that one.

I know this is a happy thread but I'm having some real problems at the moment and this lurch back into a time that is nostalgic, yet was also horrific at the time, hasn't helped in the way I thought it might.

There's nobody I could say this to in real life so I'm saying it here.

Robbie seems to be doing really well. It's great to see and I appreciate the work that must have gone into him reaching that place.

We finished watching these last night, really enjoyed them and have my fingers crossed for a girl bands one, there were some great girl groups at the time, some have been mentioned but to add to then you had Misteeq, Bewitched and the Honeyz.
I have never liked Brian McFadden and honestly the way he reacted when asked about Kerry cemented that even more for me, so arrogant and nasty and totally unnecessary. Louis was odd, it felt like he wasn’t all there, I felt like that when I saw clips of him on Big Brother too.

I saw 911 a few years ago and while I was never a fan of them back in the day I have to say they put on great show. The same for Chesney Hawkes.

Well that was a trip down memory lane a couple of things stuck out for me ..Brian,Kerry is the mother to two of your children you could just have said your grateful as the relationship meant you become a dad.
Secondly Robbie seems to have actually done work to get through his 'demons' and want to be free of the past.
Finally the managers, music companies don't seem to have come that far in supporting their acts and knowing how to support them through the fame because money for them still comes above everything else.

NGL I shed a tear on the third part where it showed Robbie getting back with Take that, was always a Mark Owen girl but there was just something magical about the five of them together! Glad Robbie seems happier in his life now too.

Oh I hope it wasn’t Louis 😪

I cried when they spoke about Stephen being so scared of the fans reaction and then seeing all the signs of support and cheering

Just finished ep 1 - oh my God I loved the song ‘Key to my life’ sooo much, and had completely forgotten it existed 🤣
Ronan is coming across more humble and chilled than he has for years, and I feel so bad for poor Mikey. What a horrible experience he had. Bloody Louis Walsh, he’s such a twat. I guess you have to be to be successful in the music industry, but it’s awful for everyone involved.

god, I'd forgotten all about ritchie and billie!

surely we must lay some blame at his door for her subsequent terrible taste in men 😬

I've told this story before but Five did a tour when they first launched. When I say tour, they did very, very low key events in their home towns (or nearby). They played a firework night near me and Ritchie snogged random girls (me inc) but not in an exactly asking permission way. You went up thinking you'd have a kiss on the cheek and got a sloppy snog. That would never happen now!!!!

Eta: He isn't that much older than me so it wasn't too weird.
