Don't remember bad boys inc myself but was never really into boybands growing up
Ooh yeah Ally Begg! He was a model in Mizz magazine originally, he used to be on their black and white postcards they'd give out free every week 🤣🤣

OMG this is a bit of me!! In my naive and innocent youth I LOVED a boy band cheesy tune. From Take That to 911 to Boyzone, to Bad Boys Inc (who came to my school and to a local under 18s disco night so I saw them twice in one day) to 5ive to Blue to Damage. Also PJ and Duncan, altho prob not technically a boy band. But my heart was (and probably always will be a little bit) with Westlife. Saw them as a support act for Boyzone (when they were called Westside at the very start!) and fell in love. And true love lasts a life time 🥰 I’ve been to every tour they have done until Wembley Stadium, which was an amazing night, in 2022.

There is always a sad story behind them tho, with dodgy managers or drugs or general twit behaviour. Sad times. But they don’t make a boy band like they used to. So nostalgic!!

Watching this really shows you how someone like Liam Payne can get into a dark place

Simon Webbe is a good looking man, he’s definitely aged the best out of everyone I’ve seen so far. Gutted for him that he had to shave his Afro to be signed though

How was it Xmas number one 30 years ago 🙈🙈 How am I that old 🤦‍♀️
I can remember what I did over that Xmas with such clarity. Well, the bit where I went into WHSmith in the January sales and swapped the East17 album for the Spice Girls one anyway. January sales were such a big thing because everything was shut over Christmas.

I remember when Westlife came out, I wasn’t a fan as I like me clubland music by then 🤣🤣 But looking at them now they looked the perfect unthreatening boyband. Enjoying Brian’s candidness about everything

They were so good. It was probably 2007 and they still dressed the exact same way as when they were first out.
Omg 6 year old me loved them I had no business sing boom boom boom

Just watching episode two and it’s so good! My love of boy bands started and ended with Take That but I remember the later bands so well.

I remember Scott from Five was quite local to me, and once or twice visited the supermarket in Basildon where I had a Saturday job right at the height of their fame 😅

It’s quite sobering too, listening to Robbie say that no one can have that level of fame and come out of it with mental health intact. He’s right. I hated him for ditching TT and being such an arrogant wick, but modern day Robbie is so eloquent and speaks so well about what fame did to him.
