Results on thursday then appointment to discuss plan forward next monday.

For the love of god, and because Rich calls me a nobody, please someone explain to him that his disease isnt stable if its spread to liver. He keeps repeating his bowel is stable possibly "dormant", yeah primary tumours often go 'quiet' when its set up home elsewhere. Doesn't mean someones got stable disease and certainly not "dormant".

That is interesting, I did not know that. I feel sorry for him as he said he is scared.
Am I right in thinking cancer patients are offered counselling through the nhs? Would that be available while private?

In his video he says he probably sounds nonchalent but he is at the point of not caring anymore. Gone are the days where he would advocate for himself and for surgery. He says he isn't bothered either way anymore, he's done with chemo. Its either surgery or managed decline. If they agree to surgery it will likely be liver ablation or resection and then a 3 month wait to see what happens. If disease isn't stable then it will be managed decline, he will consult the hospice at the doctor to discuss how long left and what his decline is likely to look like.
I didn't hear him say he is scared? He said he's at the point of not caring anymore?
---
His written update also says the same. Scan anxiety nil because he is "over it".

Hi Saydee
It was in a post from last week in which he said "I feel fear. I am scared all the time." screenshot of it on the last thread. Should have made it clear I was referencing a screenshot on the last thread!
A horrible way for anyone to feel.
I have to say, he's given it his best shot it seems in regards for advocating for himself over the last while. He's gone through a lot in the last year.
Too many young people these days are getting diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer due to their doctor dismissing any symptoms as they are "too young." Something has to change.

Ahhh yeah he was referring to how chemo made him feel and giving reasons as to why he isnt apparently having chemo ever again (but he has said the same before).
Hmmm yes I am very aware of patients being diagnosed young.

He always feels fear, he is not particular a brave man or a very good advocate for himself or others. He seems to think he’s the only person that’s gone through Chemotherapy and exaggerates his symptoms and side effects. After so many blatant lies and boasting it’s hard for me to be sympathetic. Not a good role model in the cancer community always very negative and to be honest I’m just bored with his money grabbing antics. I hope he realises money and fame are not the be all and end all before it’s too late. He most definitely has his priorities all wrong. Personally I’m not sure I believe his diagnosis story. Many things need to change in the cancer world. But after his vile and abusive behaviour towards the NHS drs who were trying to help him and his utter contempt towards them, I think he needs to take stock and be a bit more grateful.

Have you heard of Jay Mclaughlin? He also has stage 4 bowel cancer.
Over the last few years he has been posting updates regarding his cancer and treatments. They have been very informative and even during his toughest times he's had a smile on his face and tried to be positive. He is incredibly inspirational and it is so sad how ill he is.

Yes I follow him and there is certainly no comparison between the two. He is a genuinely lovely man and he truly is going through hell I wish for a miracle for this guy. I can’t even begin to not want to mention BB in the same sentence but he could learn a thing or two about humility and generosity of spirit from Jay ♥

One of THE most loveliest souls I’ve come across online. Such a down to earth man, who is simply sharing his journey and not trying to exploit people because he has cancer. I’d have a lot of time for Jay IRL.

Has the book been sent to anyone yet?
I think it was pushed back again?
There is a comment on the Cynthia Spencer Instagram from a supposed bowelbro follower on the photo of him with the cheque. She said she used to interact with him and he blocked her for no reason. She claims she had purchased the book and requested a refund due to that. There is another lady on there too who claims to have been blocked without cause.
I wonder are those comments accurate? I don't understand why anyone would block loyal followers?
