Only found the new thread 7 pages in! I had a lot of fun catching up last night, you guys are very funny 
So thankful to have a day of no plans. Currently reading The Accomplice by SC. Started the new full cast HP yesterday (incredibly immersive!) and have The Husbands by HG to start, borrowed from the library.

I’m not a space fan so this book really didn’t do it for me. I had to look past (ahem, skim read) those parts & focus on the human relationships, problems of the era & I settled into it. I think if you can do that you’ll make it to the endOh no! I’m reading it for my book club so I’ll have to persevere. It’s so tedious at the moment for me
Good luck!I have! Planned to space it out a bit from Almost Life as similar premise but my paperback pre-order dropped through the letterbox a couple of weeks ago, I read the first page (I tend to do this when I get new books) and got sucked in.
Ooooooh, and? How does it compare to Almost Life? I thought that was beautifully written but I was bored in places and willing it to be over by the end.

This is great! Loved seeing all the covers - felt it really showed the variety in the books that were chosen. Also reminded me of several that I started and gave up on which made me laugh that I clearly disliked them but others loved (Remarkably Bright Creatures I’m looking at you!).

I went out of my comfort zone and decided to read this YA book. Sadly it wasn't for me and I DNFed it.
