Dear BBC. The fact CBeebies doesn’t start until 6am is really an oversight - I’ve normally done half a day of parenting already by then 🤪

What sort of things do you do instead? He has lots of toys obviously but I worry about the social aspect
I said somewhere a couple of days ago the only child I done anything with was my eldest, and that’s because I was a nanny and out the house everyday. The other kids I’ve done soft play every so often, but mostly we are at home with my au pair ✨ Ms Rachel ✨

Some people have judgemental friends who are on to them though 😂
The answer to that, is just have no friends, so much easier, no whatsapp's buzzing 4000 times a day, no being bullied because you're a Disney adult, no untoward orgies being planned, I mean that's what my friends do, dunno about yours xo

Is there something about them turning one that sets off a biological desire for another?! 🤣 I really didn’t feel like I was ready for another at all, he’s hit one and all of a sudden I’m working out dates of when I’d ideally like to be pregnant again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s such an adorable age 😭❤
It is the time hop that gets me. Todays time hop is my eldest meeting the baby for the first time 😭😭 my heart and my ovaries can’t take it

Ooof this is a tricky one for me. I think I’m a good mum because even though I am far from perfect and probably have more bad moments than good I am always searching to be better, whether that was getting over my anxiety or starting solids and trying to create a healthy relationship with food, and trying to be patient and understanding when my toddler has a tantrum that I find verrrry triggering. But I try!

I mean I’ve watched Toy Story 34,637 times this year? 😂

Nah jokes aside, what a cute idea. I think for me, I let him be exactly who he is/needs to be and I just find a way to make that work however hard it is. It’s really important to me that Tommy never feels he has to stifle his personality or settle in life just because other people want to box him in. Obviously that doesn’t extend to everything, but so far he’s an inquisitive, sweet and cheeky little soul so I don’t think that’s half bad 🥹

It’s been quiet in here today.

Can I suggest we all name a reason you think you’re a good parent? My mind often skips to the negative first and I think sometimes it does me good to remind myself that actually I’m not half bad.

So anyway, I guess I’ll start. I think I’m fun, and I think my kids always know they’re loved

I have no idea if I’m a good mum but the kid always smiles when she sees me so I must be alright somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I'm a good parent, because despite some days I have an over whelming fear of leaving the house because I worry what germs will get Beryl, I push myself an 8 outta 10 times I manage it. I try not and let my issues surrounding the kids, affect the kids.

I'm still expecting one of you to pipe up and say your kid has a totally different name and isn't say, Baby Bore but actually Fred after all, now THAT would be a plot twist #stolenidentity

I knew I’d get some sensible advice here, you guys always keep my head on straight ❤

Nursery haven’t expressed any issues, I was just wondering if I was holding her back but actually, she’s pretty good at finding ways to explore the stuff she wants to do - she had a great time just dropping building blocks in the dogs empty food bowl this morning 😂

We did shit loads of baby groups when I was on mat leave but she was always the youngest so she either slept through them or was still immobile so just laid and watched everyone else - she loves people watching, in the pub the other day she turned herself and sat backwards in her high chair so She could watch a table of pensioners behind us eat dinner 😂 lil creep that she is

I need to keep reminding myself of the potential environmental catastrophe 🤣

WAIT TILL TOMMY TURNS ONE 😂
I have to admit, out of my mouth came the sentence "I've decided on the name if we ever have a girl" and I don't know who was more horrified out of me or OH, but then Tommy shit himself in his bouncer and it came out the sides and order was restored

Is anyone else starting to feel really inferior as a parent?! The total opposite of the intention of the exercise?! 🥴 sat here going “do I do that? Maybe I don’t. Oh god my kids are gonna need therapy”

Me panicking, can’t think of a reason and want to go to my defence mechanism of making a joke 😫
Edit to add: I didn’t choose that gif mr Waka walked in and I threw the phone incase he thinks I’m on it all day… which I’d never do x
