I saw Bethany on the tube once and she gave me the death stare from afar for no reason, I knew I recognised her from somewhere so awkwardly smiled at her which only seemed to make the death stare more intense.

A friend who works in PR said back in Bethany’s queer femme days when she was dating the Swedish guy called Dennis Bethany basically bullied my friend’s company into sending her free stuff otherwise she would have branded them fat-phobic.

I once was invited about 2 yrs ago to some shitty boring hipster poetry event. My mate was newly dating some unwashed posh boy (who was a twat) and she wanted me to come cos we were both really out of place and Bethany's husband was there doing 'poetry' i have never cringed so hard in my life, it was awful. All these middle class arty hipsters were loving it! Beth was there with a face like a slapped arse. Looked very up herself and cold. Also her husband is really short! Me and my pal fucked that lot off and went to.the spoons...thank god my pal didnt end up with Tory Tom...

That set of topman indie boys that hover around the set of redbrick alumni is so lol, they all used to go to those awful DJ nights in that pub and pretend to be polyamorous. I had the misfortune of dating one of the boys adjacent to that set and good lord the delusions of grandeur

Fucking bunch of weirdos....i honestly felt so uncomfortable. And their poetry was about random shit like cheese but they were using long words that had nothingg to do with cheese, and their 'rapping'made my arsehole go inside i cringed so much!

I wonder how many of us on this thread have known the same people IRL because you're capturing the uncomfortable cringe you're regularly made to feel, it's like your first night at uni realising you're the only non posho, but just drawn out voluntarily for years after.

No longer working at Navabi confirmed I guess? Unless they've moved offices.

It's unfathomable to me that anyone would spend over £200 on such a hideous sack dress.

Who know that ugly clay earrings were so lucrative?!

Oh no waaaaaaait, she's just got rich parents and a nepotistic book deal.

ETA - oh lol, wait, she got sent it for free. The grift never ends for these influencer sorts, does it?

Navabi moved offices at the start of the year just before lockdown so it could mean that. However they moved from a really nice boujie office space in Highbury and Islington to just giving WeWork passes to their staff so maybe all was not that well at Navabi even before this started.

I had an email from Navabi a while back to say they had bought themselves back (from whoever had bought them/ invested).

I can’t believe she’s charging that much for those earrings. I follow a few ladies who make clay jewellery and their items are so creative and well made and most are cheaper.

I think it’s mind boggling there’s people out there willing to pay it! She’s not even established as a jewellery maker— nothing that merits those price points yet. It’s crazy.

Has anyone read the books? I tried a sample, but wasn't feeling it
No. I do not buy this “I am promoting positivity and self love” shit that she’s peddling to teenagers. She’s clearly got deep rooted issues as she’s offended if someone in her circle eats a salad

I actually read the first one and it was an ok read. Decent message in it, particularly for young girls but I do agree she is permanently offended by anything she deems “fatphobic”.

I've unfollowed her. Don't like her anti-weight loss stance and that fucking ugly pout mouth she has on all her pics.

She couldn't even be bothered to cut these ones out so that they match. I can't believe that she's sold over 100 of these half-assed things.
