I once was invited about 2 yrs ago to some crappy boring hipster poetry event. That set of topman indie boys that hover around the set of redbrick alumni is so lol, they all used to go to those awful DJ nights in that pub and pretend to be polyamorous. I had the misfortune of dating one of the boys adjacent to that set and good lord the delusions of grandeur

I wonder how many of us on this thread have known the same people IRL because you're capturing the uncomfortable cringe you're regularly made to feel, it's like your first night at uni realising you're the only non posho, but just drawn out voluntarily for years after.
