I don't think being a size 14/16 would mean she can't be a fat positive exercise person any more, I am that size and I don't think I'm slim. But in the context of her previous size, maybe 🤷‍♀️

Funny how most genuinely working class people don't go around flaunting it, it's always the ones that grew up wc but had a bit of a shove up the class ladder and started mingling with middle class people. Liking grey interiors and drinking cans doesn't make you working class.

Tbh though, if I had once been pals with ur good dude, Bert, I'd probably aggressively shout about my class background also. Bethany seems utterly clueless about her privilege and needs to be reminded that not everyone has it how she has it.

Also, who the fuck are these people commending her "joie de vivre"?! What an odd thing for anyone you know to comment on. It makes me think she's confusing 'friends' with people that are just deluded, arse-licking fans.

I mean to be fair I can’t really comment as I don’t know her, but I’m sorry if she made you feel like that - intentionally or otherwise. Being a bigger woman myself sometimes I feel a little bit of resentment when my friends lose weight but that’s because it’s been so hard for me as I have thyroid issues - and I know that’s wrong! So maybe she felt kind of similar (I don’t know)

I am pretty sure it’s ADHD meds related, she said it helped her with binge eating and one of the well known side effects of ADHD meds is weight loss as it suppresses your appetite.

Bethany was also friends I think with another woman named Faridah who was friends with Harriet as well. Faridah wasn’t plus sized but she was in with that crowd and was a Vegan baker in Manchester and I remember she left her partner who runs a vegan restaurant and then one day just disappeared off the internet. Does anyone else remember her?
