Intrigued by this. Did she give up her non-monogamous lifestyle because her now husband wasn't into it? Or was she just pretending because it was the 'in' thing at the time?
Or she was just dating the US way, like dating several at the same time, and then choose the one to sign a contract with. The opposite of romance or passion.
Or maybe he was the only one who wanted something serious with her. Certainly lol.

Is this the name of the book? because it already exists.
And yes the concept sounds familiar.

My friend has; she said they were easy reading and expected more from someone who has a book podcast. Isn’t Alice writing a book?

She looks so much better 🤷‍♀️ and must feel a lot better in herself.

I actually don’t know much about her personal life, but has she got a partner? Is she looking to either get pregnant or adopt? I only say that cos I know that Laura Jane Williams was told she had to lose weight to adopt.

But, lol that I’m even trying to find another reason for her losing weight other than it’s healthy and good for you.

I had a colleague once who I really didn’t like at first, but then once I got to know her I really liked her. Impressions can be deceiving 🤷‍♀️

Such an awkward interview with Joanne Harris on the podcast. Joanne didn't seem to have much sense of humor which didn't help, but Bethany seemed so unprepared.

Yeah I don't get it either. In central London too! Her books don't seem like huge bestsellers and I can't imagine she gets big advances. Her husband is an "artist" and theatre usher (I think?) so not a highly paid job either.
She did at one point explain how she was rinsing the ‘join free for a month’ gym memberships 🤔

ETA I know that sounds a bit like not drinking lattes to buy your first home, but free gym, no transport costs (cos she walks), lots of free books from her publisher and I think she is still on PR lists for other freebies = some disposable income to spend on lunch out.

What is with flogging earrings online all of a sudden? Has she lost her ✨dream job✨
She did say recently she was made redundant from Navabi. I would have assumed she would have made enough £ from her novel writing to keep her going but I suppose that’s not the case as she’s having to sell the earrings. Her husband doesn’t seem to make a lot of money, so she’s having to support them both.

If you can consider being in the right place, right time, having a rich family/immense privilege and being very jammy a career, then yes.
I mean, most successful people come from middle class backgrounds. It is what it is. At least she works, she doesn't just beg for free shit all day long like some of them.
