Did anyone see the tortilla wrap meal she made an bit ago? Looked nice but it screams chronically-online, Tik-tok dietician, Hormone Healing™️, Gut Health™️ vibes to me. Plus the babybell give me diet culture vibes (but that might just be me or anyone who has ever had the misfortune of being on slimming world at any point in their lives).

Because she's thrilled with her weight loss but can't express it because the body "positivity" crew would eat her for breakfast. Well, not literally. Although...

Apparently she’s improving her fitness to improve her writing. Brain power alone shifted that much weight that quickly. Even though she only just hit her manuscript goals now…

I hope she warmed up well before that reach. Writing books as unintentional weight loss. Kind of a dig at Alice too whose book is on the Sunday Times bestseller list already.

Also the basic premise seems to be the same as her YA novels, which is fine I guess - there's obviously a gap in the market for a fat romantic heroine who "discovers" she's actually amazing and worthy of a great relationship/love... but I dunno, I'm skeptical of how many different ways that story can actually be told maybe I'm being overly harsh but from listening to her book podcast it's not exactly like its a genre that BR enjoys reading herself so huh... I dunno what I'm trying to say but I guess I just can't get behind her enthusiasm for these books. I feel bad as I do like her!

Or she was just dating the US way, like dating several at the same time, and then choose the one to sign a contract with. The opposite of romance or passion.
Or maybe he was the only one who wanted something serious with her. Certainly lol.

This is how I read it. I think her non monogamous phase was very much led by her ex Dennis and as soon as they split it wasn't something she pursued with other partners.

I went to private school & one of my classmates has been to prison. I think having two novels published before 40 is very private school privilege though! It sucks she lost her job, it’s always tough, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone

a few pages back one of BR’s hangers on tweeted BR that she wouldn’t share pics of her kitchen (fitted in the flat she got bought lol) because of tattle.....you are just someone in the replies of the subject matter of one of the deadest threads on here, I can’t even remember her name but remember she has a banal school report as her Twitter header image as she must find herself endlessly interesting.

She is SLOWLY but surely getting better but who in their right mind would pay fifteen British pounds for those???? The mind boggles. It’s extortion.
There are loads of artists on Etsy selling the same thing - for much better quality - at lower prices.

The thing is, you're right, she is getting better. And even her first ones; if I saw someone wearing them, I'd be able to tell they had made them themselves and I'd think that was cute and that they'd done well.

However, it's the fact that she basically made some for herself as a hobby, got a few compliments (from fairweather mates and obsessive fans no doubt) and immediately jumped to 'I MUST PRODUCE AND SELL THESE FOR PROFIT'.

I also looked recently to see if she'd lost her Navabi job, she hasn't mentioned it at all. I was always surprised that she worked there tbh: she did a good job driving business with her "collections" () but almost everything else on the site is so frumpy and eye-wateringly expensive.

I wonder how much she's made from her various books? Her socials crowd are very vocal about buying them but I can't see their appeal going that much wider?

Was thinking this earlier! Sometimes I think these things are just a legitimised/kinder form of crowd funding for friends down on their luck, tbh there was a phase in this set of militant poshos creating gofundmes for shit like new laptops etc so at least she’s not doing that... or Jack Monroe-ing
