If this as anyone elses book cover I bet she'd be complaining about the illustration showing a "good large" person. Like, at first glance I'm not sure I'd even register it as a large character?

It’s weird isn’t it - I used to really enjoy her tweets but since stopping work I think she wants to give off this subtle humble brag lady of leisure vibe and that’s why they’re all like that? I miss her being able to construct interesting sentences on things that weren’t lunches out or free yoga classes!
I vaguely knew her at school and the smart girl pretending to do no work thing was endemic there. Literally everyone in my class did the same thing. V confusing for the autistic kid
Imagine being the kind of person that thinks other people need to constantly know how marvellous you think you are, and expecting them to believe you wander around the elite parts of London, floating about thinking about polymer clay and people just complimenting you left right and centre all the livelong day whilst the rest of us are working.

Spot on. I think she is performing a character. I don't dislike her too much because she actually works unlike most of these grifters, and the performance is very much part of her work.
