I have spent the entire day with a friend who is an retired lawyer. He helped me draft a letter of complaint. If we are to believe that she did go to authorities and this man did get trespassed off Disney Property, then this is really serious. I just sent an email complaint with concrete proof of defamation to Guest Services. I also spent over an hour on hold on the Guest Services line to file a complaint, which was recorded. They directed me to the correct department. I should be hearing back in a few days, if not a week. Edited to add that I also downloaded both videos and have screen grabs of their comment section reply in the event they take the videos down.

I'm new to Tattles. As in, literally a few minutes ago.

I'm also new to DL Influencers. Just got back from a trip this past week and in advance of the trip, I consumed a lot of YT content....MJ, Fresh Baked, BLAB, Mondo, etc. Mainly to just get caught up on what to know about the parks, obviously.

Today I've stumbled upon this site after seeing BLAB's "Here's What Happened" video this morning. And let me tell you, this site is like drinking water out of a fire hydrant.

I'm not gonna get ANY work done today, thanks to all of you (and these threads).

The definition of Virtue Signaling is: An attempt to show other people that you are a good person, for example by expressing opinions that will be acceptable to them, especially on social media.

Oh, irony.

So I will say this, KT, since you clearly are reading all of this and I know the other side of the story:

1. You violated property rules by soliciting in the parks. Using YouTube "as it's intended" does not excuse you from selling your merchandise on Park Property.
2. You filmed facing the crowd, not on selfie mode, not a ride POV, on an attraction, for over 10 minutes while talking loudly, disrupting the people around you. I know that you don't think you were doing so, but you did. Ever been in a store while someone was having a loud cell phone conversation when you're in the checkout line? That was you in this scenario.
3. Your live streaming was so loud that it drew attention to yourself and annoyed the man enough to say something. He cleared his throat to get your attention, which failed, so he spoke up. Again, you don't think that's what you did, but that is what happened.
4. You then turn the camera on him and berate him for uttering his opinion. Somehow you feel that the words "Don't send these grifters any money?" is worse than what you said about him being being a psycho, a crazy person, a jerk, a harasser, serial killer, a creeper, and a stalker? You then exaggerate the incident to something it was not. You claim you are going to security, but you do not flag anyone down, there are four cast members in your vicinity in your video, if you were threatened you had them there at your disposal. But you did not say anything to any cast member. You passed several as you exited.
5. You then continue the stream for 14+ minutes after "the incident" continuing to talk about your product, promoting your merchandise. You only end your live stream because your battery was dying.
6. Sometime after the fact you went to security, where you falsely accused him of harassment and assault. Anaheim PD was then brought in.
7. Anaheim PD found no instance of assault or harassment, but Disney had him trespassed anyway. Don't believe me? I called Anaheim PD. There is no record of an incident, no report was made. Go ahead and call them. Prove me wrong.
8. You had a man interrogated in front of his child. I'm going to repeat this. You falsely accused this man and had him interrogated in front of his child. You had them trespassed off property. You did that. You ruined a families visit and their ability to ever return to the parks. You accept no accountability in your actions possibly contributing to his removal over your disturbing the people on the boat. You had no awareness of anyone but yourself until he spoke, which is why he spoke.
9. You then monetize the incident twice, the next day you continue to falsely accuse this man of coughing, spitting, and speaking out loud as assault and harrasment. You do not take accountability that what you were doing by both keeping them on camera and talking loudly to where they could not focus on the ride's dialogue. Instead you brag that you have friends in security. Nothing happened to you other than getting your feelings hurt. You are blowing the whole incident up to gain sympathy and channel views.
10. My taking part in this action is not "virtue signaling." My intent is to get this family's trespass revoked. Any hate coming your way is in response to your own actions. You created this mess, I'm just trying to help this man be able to enjoy the parks once again. You are trying to defame him, which is deplorable. Shame on you.

Please tell me who is virtue signaling here. And if you can't see any fault in your behavior in this matter, you need serious help. What you did is shameful. There was no need to take it that far. YOU DID THAT.

Wowzers! This thread really got away from me while I’ve been working today. Now my recap of Thread #15 is a bit less relevant, but for those with time to kill - here it is anyway!

Oh, what a wild & crazy 11 or so days it has been. And by wild, I actually mean wildly uneventful. That is, until the last 48 hours. THEN we really started cooking with gas. But, let's begin at the beginning.

Thread #15 kicked off with an insufferably long live-stream, entitled "Late Night Disneyland" that I wish I had something funny to say about, but I took one look at the run-time length and Noped my way right outta there. Socialblade.com says they earned somewhere in the range of $8-$128 dollars during this 2.5 hour live-stream, which, even on the high end, is the exact amount of money I'd give away to NOT have to spend my evening wandering around a theme park pointing my iPhone at things and talking to myself.

The next day brought us Elder Emmons venturing on a solo mission to the park to ensure that his legions of loyal subjects were equipped with all of the knowledge, tips & tricks they needed to survive the dreaded spring break crowds at Disneyland. At least, that's what the title of the video would lead you to believe. In reality, Spencer rode the choo-choo and suggested you get to the park early.

The very next night, BLAB graced us with yet another live-stream from the park that was far too long to even attempt to watch. Another two whole hours of my time was far too much to ask, as I already had more desireable plans. (If you must know, I had an appointment with my chalkboard scratcher. For those unaware, this is a person who just runs their nails along a chalkboard while I sit within earshot for two hours).

Because BLAB's average view-count requires them to post daily as opposed to fewer, well-planned, better quality videos - Spence went back to the park alone in their next vlog. Only this time, it was raining and looked really miserable. I've actually never been happier to have a desk job. And while his click-baity title made you believe you were going to learn something unique about rainy days at Disneyland, the joke's on you, because he just rode the choo-choo again.

At this point, we can skip ahead a bit. While we fast-forward, just know that we got another live from the park, a WHW from the guest bathroom in their Irvine apartment, a "What to expect" video for April where we were cautioned not to disturb the baby ducklings, and a personal vlog where Spencer spouted his Covid-denying rhetoric that expertly marginalized the millions of people around the world that have been tragically affected by the global pandemic that is still prevelant across the globe.

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for. The official name is tbd, but working titles are "The cough heard round the world (inside KT's head)" or "Creepy psycho calmly makes a comment". In case you're living under a rock shaped like a hidden Mickey, here's what went down: KT took a voyage on the Sailing Ship Columbia (sans Spencer) where she proceeded to film unsuspecting families and broadcast their likeness over the internet for the purposes of hawking BLAB merchandise and monetizing YouTube ad revenue. Little did she know, a true hero in flannel was aboard the ship on this fateful day.

This particular hero had a long day at the park with his family, and he was quite parched. As such, he had to audibly clear his throat which just so happened to occur at the exact moment that KT had her camera carelessly and aimlessly pointed directly at his face for the entire planet to see, live and in real-time. This coincidence largely went unnoticed at the time, but the event was called back into focus later on, in what is the clearest case of exaggeration and bikeshedding I've personally ever seen.

I think we all know what happened next. This same gentleman was having a conversation with a business partner on the phone, via bluetooth where he was heard off-camera as saying "Don't give these grifters any money". Unfortunately, the small startup company that he oversees is currently in litigation with a contracting company that is attempting to overcharge for services not rendered. For whatever reason, KT was triggered by hearing the word "grifter" and immediately assumed the man was referring to her and her hard-working, quality YouTube channel.

She was so affected by this simple misunderstanding that she began slinging offensive, derogatory names at this man, like "Creep", "Psycho", "Stalker", and more. Quite unfortunate, really. Especially considering the next day, where, in a true attempt to torpedo their own channel and alienate a large percentage of their fanbase - they posted a mansplanatory video that blew the entire event insanely out of proportion and attempted to tarnish our poor hero's reputation.

But never fear, my friend. You know who you are, and I think I speak on behalf of the Tattle Life community when I say, we salute you.

Going through Guest Relations will get a copied and pasted response from an entry level cast member at a desk in a call center and no one else will ever see it. There are plenty of Security managers easily found on LinkedIn…

In my case, I explained the situation and they took my personal information. I asked to be transferred to the correct department, but no one was available to answer at the time I called. Because they know the situation and have my information, as well as my attempt to contact, it will be flagged through the process.

On the email contact form, I chose from subject title dropdown: Comments on your last Disneyland Resort visit.

Here's what I wrote:


On Sunday, April 3rd, a woman who goes by Katie Slockbower posted a live stream on her YouTube channel, Best Life and Beyond, entitled: “Here at Disneyland today to make an exciting announcement!”

There was an incident that happened where Katie falsely claims a man harassed and assaulted her, that she filed a report with both Disneyland Security and Anaheim PD. During this live stream, she loudly talked about the channel’s announcement (being the launch of the channels new merchandise, currently for sale online), while taking SuperChats (Donations from live stream viewers). This is important for later. Around the 34-minute mark, while both in line and boarding the Sailing Ship Columbia, Katie continues to talk very loudly, disturbing guests. Instead of pointing the camera at her face, she was pointing her camera towards the crowd on the ship, not filming the ride. One individual who was with his child can be seen to be annoyed at her loud talking while filming in his direction now being filmed for minutes at this point, wanders towards the camera to block the view towards his family (around 46:44 in the video), he clears his throat to get her attention. About 4 minutes later, at 55:09, Katie is still pointing the camera towards families on board the ship, talking loudly, as she walks past the man he says, “Don’t send these grifters any money,” loud enough to be heard on camera. Katie, taken aback that anyone could possibly be disturbed at her non-stop chatter starts aiming the camera directly at him and berates him until the end of the ride, accuses him of “being a psycho, a crazy person, a jerk, a harasser, serial killer, a creeper, and a stalker,” loud enough for him and everyone else in earshot to hear. She then says she is contacting security to have him arrested. She claims he "coughed on her" and that she felt "threatened" by his comment. This man could face charges against him for protecting his rights and his family rights, being falsely accused, and possibly being banned from the parks. He did nothing wrong but express his frustration at her lack of understanding that she was disrupting the people on the boat with them having no recourse to get out of their filming path. He did not cough; he did not harass. He made a simple comment. She made several worse comments at him, even getting other people standing in her vicinity to corroborate her story. Note: there were several cast members around her during this time. She did not draw attention to anyone if she felt threatened.

Around the one hour mark she continues walking around the parks continuing to defame the man, still selling her merchandise on the stream, walking towards New Orleans Square, still filming the crowds, not her face, now ending up at the Pirate’s Lair Attraction. Note this is more than 14 minutes after the alleged event. She clearly was not feeling threatened if she was able to keep her sales pitch going and not immediately head to Security. She continues talking for several minutes before ending the stream.

Who is in violation here? Disneyland’s Park Rules https://disneyland.disney.go.com/park-rules/ read videotaping for commercial purposes and solicitations of any kind without prior written approval are prohibited. If this man has charges pressed against him for protecting his rights and his family rights, being trespassed from the parks, while KT was conducting herself breaking rules and was not trespassed as well, then this is just deplorable. She was actively taking sales and spewing her sales pitch in line and on the boat the entire time, which is a clear violation of Park Rules. She violated three rules during the live stream: The sales of goods or services…, Photography, videotaping, etc. for unapproved commercial purposes…, and Unauthorized solicitations of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational, or otherwise, or conducting any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations of money or other contributions or donations.

Best Life and Beyond were at the Parks the next day, April 4th, filming on Disneyland property, further cashing in on "her account of the assault" so she was not trespassed from the park

Their story has now expanded to not only assault and harassment, but she claims he now spit on her as well. There is no point in the original video where you can hear or see anyone spitting. They also claim they get special treatment as they are “friends with Security.” They are further making false claims about the incident, gaining sympathy, with the intent to drive more people to their channel. If anything, this action makes this man’s comment more credible and not an attack by any means. They could easily have filmed this video in their home, but they again use and exploit the parks to gain more attention to attract more viewers. I contacted Anaheim PD for a copy of the Police Report, I was informed by the officer on the phone that if no assault was found during the incident, and no arrest made, they usually won’t turn in a report. She could not find a record of any report. This is a defamation lawsuit about to happen.

If you scroll through the Best Life and Beyond Channel on YouTube, most of their videos are live streams in which they take donations known as Super Chats. It is known that they can turn off the Super Chats while on Disneyland property, but the purpose of their live streams is solely for income purposes. Their argument is they use the YouTube features as they are intended, as well as many YouTube channels, but just because the feature exists on the YouTube app does not mean that they have carte blanche to violate Disneyland Property rules. While that may be a gray area for Park Rules seeing that it was a live stream not an in-person action, note that I as a park goer would not be able to ask the people around me in line or on property for money or donations, no matter how important the cause was or how self-serving it would be to me. I also cannot walk into the parks with a pile of my logo t-shirts trying to sell them to people around me. I would be escorted out and possibly trespassed for life. I don’t see how selling shirts and taking donations during a live stream on property would be any different. It’s the same situation. Katie was also disruptive to everyone on that attraction which is also a violation of the Magic Key Pass and Property Rules. The security team was shown the video, they had concrete evidence of them selling merchandise on park grounds, yet they allowed Katie to stay and trespassed the man who said an unthreatening opinion. On the second video Spencer and Katie bragged that Security are their friends, that they had their back, and they may be using the video as a training video example. This man in the live stream who made the comment should have his trespass revoked, along with an apology. Trespassing him while letting Katie remain is a double standard, and if she has insiders on her side, it is discriminatory. Please take the time to review this case and reinstate his ability to take his child to the parks. And please take action against Spencer Eamons and Katie Slockbower for violation Property Rules.

Just discovered the feed….I watched the video. It is clear of watching the video the gentleman who made the comment was watching her. Which IS disturbing. He had his child with him too who was also giving looks. The reaction may not have been ideal from her end…creepy though to see someone watching her. I think if one is going to put themselves out there in the public they will have to get prepared for others to do things like this. It does come with the territory. We can only control our reaction not the opinion of others.

The gentleman is watching her because she has been filming his family for several minutes, that to me is creepy. He's in Papa Bear mode. It's a natural reaction. If people are out in public being filmed without consent, then they also have a right to say something about it. She filmed random people for almost an hour straight, I can't imagine paying thousands for a once in a lifetime viacation only to have it ruined by someone yapping about themselves non-stop ruining their experience, which is why he is glaring at her. There was no assault, there was no harassment. She then harassed him by stating all those horrible comments about him in retaliation, loud enough for everyone to hear. She's the asshole creep on the boat, not him.
